If we could have full 6 on 6 teams, I'd bring more oddball and fun Pokemon.
But with only 3, I don't have the room to play around.

Turns out the only way to have a full on single battle team is if it's no restrictions. However, that also means your opponent will have all their levels instead of being limited to LV50

Yeah, I'm aware. I was looking it up at the start of the tournament.
Kind of a bummer, but it's the only way to prevent someone with a team of Lv100s come in and sweep everyone (My team is barely pushing 70), so lesser of two evils, I suppose.

It's what would also make me ineligible to participate if flat rules didn't exist. All my best Pokémon are LV100 :lol

Because the Battle ____ don't level you, once I finish post game, I rarely have much incentive for leveling beyond training up new mons.
The only Pokemon I've had to hit Level 100 after my original Red team was my Milotic (Originally from Ruby, but was migrated into Pearl, where it hit 100).

Ah, Milotic. I have to figure out where I put mine. I had 5 Pokémon that I dubbed my "Contest Kings and Queens"- Milotic (Beauty), Delcatty (Cute), RegiSteel (Cool), Swampert (Tough) and Dusclops (Smart). Dusclops made his way into the next Gen and became LV100 and Dusknoir, while Swampert and Milotic did the same. Delcatty is the only one who never made it past her original level of 16

Ah Contests. I seriously hope to see them be brought back come X and Y, but with revamped mechanics to make them less tedious.
And my Milotic is actually horrible at contests, ironically. I trained him to be a battler, and battle he did.

Same here. My strongest pokemon is my Luxray from Heart Gold who is level 86. I think he was 81 or 83 when I transferred him.

Ah...contests good times...good times...I loved how Ruby and Sapphire gave you more to do in the overworld, and I loved the "make your base" feature.

yea i just waiting for reply from skyward and also on the subject on migreation my blastoise is the only true LV 100 i had since Fire red i sent him over to dimmond then to heart then to black and now on black 2 all my fave pokemon are on there nearly i even got a proper true not hacked girattina that LV 36 due to the arcaus trick on heart gold by just sending over it to gold and go to the area the uknow are you then go to place some perople say it sinnoh and there arcaus will make a brand new baby legendary i say baby due to it level

I'm gonna have to drop out because D/Cs have fucked me over twice and because apparently my 3DS can't handle the connection that my laptop and PS3 can use effortlessly, I'm probably gonna snap it in two if it D/Cs again.

I'm honestly confused why the DS has such a hard time handling it. I can play 1v1 Fighters on my PS3 and have a ping of 20-50 and play any other game with a 4-5 bar connection, I can play Monster Hunter Tri online on my Wii and have no problems connecting to other players with no lag or jumpiness, I can game on my laptop and play it just fine.

But my 3DS connecting to my Wi-Fi with my laptop and PS3 both disconnected? Apparently that's too much. :\
