Have there been any holidays for Japanese businesses in the last week? I placed an order at Mandarake Nakano six days ago and haven't heard a peep. I've sent two follow-up emails, as well, with no response.

I have a kind of important question on Mandarake: I ordered two things from one store that were 2000 yen and 2500 yen. The 2000 yen one sold out, but another one like it showed up for 3500 yen still in the same store which I bought and left a note in the order to combine the shipping with the previous item. Now both orders seperate have a 500 yen handling fee, but together they wouldn't, being over 5000 yen. Would I get refunded the 1000 yen in handling, or am I out that money because they don't keep their stores up to date?

I'm in the same boat. Actually want to cancel my order, as I found what ordered somewhere cheaper.

When they send you an invoice with both items on it, you shouldn't have any handling fee.

Nakano has been slow as cold molasses lately, in getting invoices out, and they haven't responded to any of my emailed questions in weeks and weeks. They used to be the best store, customer service-wise, but lately nothing.
My most recent order at Utsunomiya though, it was blindingly fast. Got my invoice in just a couple hours, and it shipped a few hours after I paid for it. I think the entire thing was less than 24 hours.

Mandarake made an official announcement about this literally weeks ago :lol

They've been bombarded with orders this holiday season and are having delays because of it. Now I know it's crazy that they're still experiencing issues but here's hoping they resolve it soon.

I wasn't being impatient, just curious, because I know a lot of people had been waiting a long, long time, and since I didn't get mine I couldn't really say "oh they're sending out invoices now."

That does seem odd. Must be from all the people ordering at Nakano. Cause the store I did my orders from this past month were from Umeda, and one of them wa quick. The other's 3rd day fell into New Years day, so I'm still waiting.

My Shibuya order was processed fast as shit, even though I had them combine two orders. I placed it on the same day as my Nakano order.

I'm still waiting on a Nakano order combo from two weeks ago. Oh well...
