I just finished episode 17 of Decade. I'm liking it so far, but there's not a driving motivation for me to watch more episodes. When I watched OOO, I didn't want to stop. Den-O and W were like that too. Those shows were great.

I did like Decade's use of Den-O's attack ride cards. Those were hilarious.

I think I am going to watch Kuuga next, since I just found that a fansub group had completed the whole series.

I want to rewatch Kuuga once MC finishes subbing the Grongi, but last I checked it seems like they were only 10 or so episodes in. I should check again.

I haven't checked, but I very much doubt they've got any further. MCS are one of the slowest fansub groups out there.

No, I'm not sure who it is exactly I got. I think Midnight something or other. Just go to Nyaa torrents and type in Kuuga, and there is an entire fansub torrent batch on there.

And like I said, Kuuga is my next series unless my g/f and I finish up on all of the Batman movies before then, then OOO will end up being first. Nevertheless, Kuuga will be the next series I watch on my own, and OOO will be the next series we watch together.

They actually just posted an update on all their stuff - the v2 Kuuga with Grongi subs are currently on hold since they were getting SteelAJeeg to help out and he's already really busy helping them out with Stronger and doing his own stuff at KITSubs. I do want to see a full version with the Grongi subbed, but I can honestly live without it - I think it adds to the mystery of the show more when you have no idea what they're saying.

It doesn't really matter, it doesn't fit in with the show's canon anywhere.

I watched three or four more episodes of Kabuto over the weekend. Saw the premier of TheBee, up to Kagami becoming TheBee and abandoning it. I'm enjoying the series quite a bit so far. I'm a little hesitant to say I'm embracing the series whole-heartedly at this point, especially since the next episode introduces Drake, though to be fair, all I know is that I think the design is ridiculous, and apparently he's some kind of cosmetics guy?

But I'm finding Tendou to be cool, I've liked Kagami since day one, I was hoping he'd stay TheBee longer, because that is a pretty great design, but I am interested to see where this goes, with only the aforementioned reservations regarding Drake.

Speaking of OOO, what episode does the movie take place during?

Do you mean OOO Wonderful? It's just a side story and doesn't really take place between episodes. But he has access to the purple Cores, so it can be assumed to be towards the end of the series.

Yeah, in general all 3 of the OOO movies are hard if not impossible to place in continuity.

Up to ep 36 of Ryuki and I gotta say, the biggest gripe is how utterly incompetent the Japanese police are portrayed as.

How many times did they have Asakura at gunpoint? And hey, let's tell the media when a dangerous prisoner is being transported and let everyone tag along!

And through 36 Episodes, I'm still not sure what the relationship is between Yui and Ren. Are they banging? Friends? Is he using her to get to Kanzaki? I know it's a kid show, but the pacing and acting kills me sometimes.

Yet I watch on.

The only one you can really place in continuity is the OOO part of Megamax, all the others just don't fit in.

Let's go Kamen Riders was so self contained that it could be watched at any point and not effect the story.

Movie Core Wars was so random , It should really just be watched for the sake of completing the series and enjoyed for Skull.

OOO : Wonderful was before Date leaves the series. As stated above, But Uva hanging out with Maki and Co. was out of continuity if i am not mistaken.

Yeah, I recently watched Let's Go Kamen Riders so I can see if there was any footage worth using in my upcoming anime convention panel (and there was) and I have mostly no problem understanding what was going on. The stuff I didn't understand dealt more with Den-O being a different actor and having a different Imagine and form.

That's New Den-O I think. He's Ryutaro's grand son or something from the distant future. He was introduced in Saraba Kamen Rider Den-O: Final Countdown(which was supposed to be the last Den-O movie, but failed miserably :P) as some sort of replacement Den-O.

Yeah, it was Kotaro - just with blonde hair for no apparent reason. He was kind of becoming the de facto Den-O since Ryotaro's actor has moved on to bigger name projects. It looks like we're actually not getting a Den-O movie this year, though, so it might be that the cash liner has finally run out of track (or they're just going to fold bits of it into other movies like they did with Superhero Taisen).

Unless we go a Den-O-less year through Wizard, I'm not gonna believe the cash train has slowed yet :P

So Den-O came out in 2007 and had it's series. Then a movie during Kiva in 08 and 09 during Decade. What came out Den-O wise during W?

We got Den-O with OOO's and Momotaros in Taisen. So i guess that counts as the Fourze / Den-O for this year.

I can understand why these characters keep showing up. They are incredibly awesome.

There was the Chou Den-O trilogy. Don't know much about except there were 3 episodes, one starring Zeronos, one starring New Den-O & the last one starring DiEnd.

Yeah. In addition to Den-O's 3 movies to itself, we got Climax Deka, Movie War (Don't remember what the subtitle was, if any), Chou Den-O Trilogy, and Let's Go Kamen Rider (I'm not sure whether to list Super Hero Taisen, because Den-O wasn't top billed, and I'm not sure how large his role is).

Inspired by the Let's Watch topics, and assisted by a direct download site, I finally finished my Ryuki experience by watching the 13 Riders special and the Episode Final movie this week.

13 Riders was meh, but Episode Final is one of my favorite Rider movies. I absolutely loved Femme and the Agito cameos were a lot of fun.

The Agito cameos were hilarious. But Episode Final itself was just awful in my opinion. Ouja would NEVER go down like that in real continuity, I absolutely hated Femme, and that damn ambiguous ending. Let's fight this final battle that happens off screen. 13 Riders however was pretty bad too. To an extant. The ending was brilliant. Shinji becoming Knight after Ren's death and facing down all of the remaining riders was just epic. However again the ending is inconclusive which irks me to no end. But for a TV special which condensed the primary plot points of a 50 episode series down to less than an hour I give it props.

I haven't posted much in thread due to this thread having few too many spoilers without tags than I like.

Eitherway, finished W (And all but one related movie.Current favorite Rider series) and Decade (Ugh! Only thing worse is Saban's Masked Rider) months ago and I'm currently watching on Kuuga and I'm in the 40's (42 or 43 I think).

It's very good in a very different way than W. This feels more like what people told me Kamen Rider was like back 6 or so years ago when I first tried Kabuto (Which had a good start at least). Kuuga excels at quiet character development and dark imagary (for a "kids" show at least). Really, I'd say this show is more closely related to Garo than Kamen Rider. One of the highlights of the show for me is that no one is useless, not even cops! This is ironic after seeing Decade where Kuuga was useless (Ugh! I said, Ugh!).

It's not without problems like all Kamen Riders series. The fights can be short to nonexistent some episodes. I don't mind it when the extented cast can carry a scene all on their own (Jean and Enokida subplot comes to mind). Also, because the Gurongi scenes are left untranslated, those scenes can drag on because I have only a tiny idea of what they're talking about. It does add a bit of mystery since I'm never far ahead of the heroes because the villains told me last episode, but I do wish those scenes just didn't happen as offten (though my opinion of that may change if the Gurongi subs are every completed).

I'd be done watching it by now, but Jetman's been disacting me with pretty colors. I plan to go back to Sentai after this for awhile. I'd really like to watch Agito next, but I can't find a complete enough set of subs right now. In which case I'm not sure what I'll watch next for Kamen Rider.

PS Funny that Agito is the only Heisei era I really wanna watch and the only one with incomplete subs.

It depends on which ending you watch. If you watch the one that just ends randomly, then yes, it does suck. If you watch the ending where Shinji transforms into Knight and destroys the mirror, it is much better. Nevertheless, is it pretty average and the only reason to watch it is because Toei was too lazy to put Verde in the series itself.

Agito is fully subbed. A group called Cruel Angels put out bootleg subbed dvds of it a few years ago and they've since been ripped and put online. They aren't the best subs ever, but they're more than adequate.

Yeah, finally found them tonight. Might watch it alongside Jetman (because for some reason I wanna make Jetman last a while).

I'm about to rewatch Decade. Last time I saw it I was watching it with friends so we watched it sporadically over a period of about 5 months, so it became quite hard to follow after a while (Well, moreso than it should have been :lol). Plus I'd like to watch it again more regularly before I move onto the other Rider stuff I haven't seen

Start watching Kamen Rider Kiva, now that I finished Den-O. Kiva is... different? But different in a good way. I'm up to episode six and I am definately enjoying it.

Watch out, I think it is Agito 44 that is missing half of its episode.

I think it was 37 and there are actually two versions out there - one that's really janked up and one that isn't.

I actually just started back on Kiva this week. Been trying to force my way through it for about 2 years now. It's not bad it just doesn't really excite me, I plan to finish it this week and now that I'm past the halfway point hopefully it won't drag on.

I feel like I should give into peer pressure and watch Kiva too...
