I'm one thousand percent sure that changer is gonna infuriate me before even three episodes in. I understand that it isn't like Kyoryuger and that disgusting squealing, but hearing the sheer amount of NOISE that comes out of that thing is bad enough without it repeating everything twice. I get that it's authentic blahblah, but I don't want to miss my train - here though there is no real context and it's just annoying as fuck.

Cross posting this from the 'Where the sales at' thread:
Mandarake Complex (Akihabara) has a DX ToQ-Oh for ¥5000. |
HLJ shipped my ToQGer stuff today. I am really excited and hope it gets here fast :lol
|
Just bought the TokkyuOh and Tokkyu Henshin Brace 2-pack from Mandarake.
And with that I think I'm done with the ToQger stuff until Figuarts come out. I loved collecting Kyoryuger, but dinosaurs beat out trains and I'm going to be satisfied with just the two most important toys of ToQger rather then the whole thing. |
ordered the gun and passport from Mandarake, just to get the resha tbh.
no idea why... |
Urgh, really wish I had bough ToQ-Oh and the ToQ-Changer separately. Here I thought I'd get the same as buying them separately, but it looks like it only comes with one Red Train, despite the fact that you'd get two if you bought them separately, so I can only play with the Changer if my ToQ-Oh is in pieces. Really not happy about that considering it costs the same as getting them separately. Serves me right for assuming, I guess. Wish I hadn't immediately paid for it before watching un-boxing videos.

I found the commercials for both ToQ-Oh and the ToQger Henshin Series:

Though not actually a toy, I just realized they're selling the Conductor's hat and I want one super bad.

Oooh, one if not all of the Tokkyugers should come with a "wearable" Ticket. You could use him on all the other figures, like Ankh! :D |

This is the full list of sounds uncovered during hacking/exploring of the ToQ Changer:

These toys are really not easy to get. I hope they become more easily available soon.
|
I've been looking at more pics and such of ToQ-Oh and I have a question. With such small feet does he fall forward a lot? Cause, damn, those some tiny feet.

Glad to hear about the rider/ gaim resha. Fingers crossed for gaim resha arms. |

Also, add me to the list of those wanting a Ticket puppet |

I wouldn't worry about it too much. You have a whole year to try and get ahold of that stuff and I'm sure it'll be easier to get ahold of once the new show hype dies down. |

The last time I collected mecha was during Gokaiger, and I remember their stuff being sold out for months and having to pay premium prices. Here's hoping I can snitch something off AmiAmi soon. |

ToQ-oh is growing on me ever since the reveal of Diesel-oh and the combined form. I really don't want to buy the role play toys in order to get all of the additional ressha. The RP toys have done nothing for me, and I don't really think it will be easy to unload them without their ressha.

Received ToQ-oh today from amiami. Though I hated the design at first it kind grew on me and I picked him up mainly because I though the Diesel-oh looked so much better. Seeing him in person though he's not that bad. Pictures don't really do him any justice. Only complaints I really have are I think the arms should have been smaller and he needed a much longer sword. The Arms will probably look better once the other combinations bulk ToQ-oh out more but there's no excuse giving him such a dinky sword.
|
The sword needed to be short enough as to not make an awkward gun?

Really all the sword needed was an extra inch. It wouldn't have taken away from the gun mode.

....also a man who had an awome idea http://25.media.tumblr.com/b6a7b5dff...ozhuo1_500.jpg That's how you display a train robot. |
what scale are those tracks?

I actually was just out earlier and saw what appears to be some damn near perfect tracks from a Thomas set. Apparently you can buy Thomas rail accessory packs. So I'm going to get one and see how well it lines up with the Resshas.

They're articulated tracks too which is bizarre. They're geared so you can bend them into the shape you need. I hope they aren't too wide for Resshas. But I'll get to test it out on Monday.
|
Please let us know, i'm looking forward to getting tracks.
Also looking for "crossing guard" things both for the big mech and also smaller Figuarts scale ones. Someone posted a turnstile for Figuarts scale which will be awesome for the eventual SHF's of Tokyyuger. From reading around, it looks like "HO-Scale" has tracks about .6 inch apart; but "S-Scale" has tracks about .8 inch apart, if i'm not totally fucking up the measurements. Tokkyu-oh trains look about an inch wide, so i'm thinking "S-Scale" is the way to go. Wish i had a train store near by to experiment in. I was fiddling with mine. From gestalt mode, you can detach the forward parts of all the trains (forearms, lower legs, and center chest) and then use those sections to make a train. When some of these auxilary resshas come out you could have a fully formed Tokkyu-Oh as well as a train of the main squad! |
I did measurements on the wheelbase of the ressha and came up with S scale. I haven't yet made it to a hobby shop to check though.
|
Well, looks like I got the last ToQ Oh from CS Toys today! :D

They didn't have actual tracks for me to test |
I was just browsing through this thread and ran across my ToQ-Oh instagram pic. The tracks I used were HO scale. I can't take full credit as I got the idea from Bruno from MMPR toy reviews. I do recommend getting straight tracks for display.
