I like the protectors of Wind and Earth, and Pohatu has a cool design and awesome weapons, but as a whole it's kinda hard to judge them with these early images, the HF/Bionicle aesthetic mix works at times and at others falls flat.

So the Mask of Life returns? Hmm... I wonder how it will play out this time around.

Well Hero Factory figures do tend to be smaller than the average Inika build.

Regarding masks, I wonder if these will be compatible with the past toys.

Sorry: I'm assuming these will be smaller then the previous ones due to them integrating HF aesthetics into the designs.

The Toa looks like the Furno XL size so by going with that I'm going to say fairly decent in size and height but not like Stomer XL.

Why is the Mask of Life on them? o_O Expected that new mask to be there instead... Although they are still preliminary. Which could mean the golden mask we've already seen is the Mask of Life...

Anywho:

Digging the colors on some of these guys.

I will never get over the disappointment of Lewa now being the master of "jungle" though. :(

Oh, and regardless of my complaints (which I have gone into great detail on over on TFW), I must say that my level of hype has still now reached "over exaggerated anime pervert nose bleed" levels. As in, I feel that if I were in an anime, I would be in a death bed from blood loss right now.

I need to see more of the re-designed Kanohi.

Finally, a purple Bionicle!

These look pretty good overall. Lewa is cool, I'm liking that mask. I like Kopaka as well, though it's mostly for the mask. His proportions seem kind of awkward the more I look at him. Pohatu's design looks good as well, but I wish he had more brown. He has way too much silver, the only brown that stands out is his mask and chest. Tahu looks really good, he might be my favorite. The only two I'm not really impressed with are Onua and Gali. Onua has really strange proportions, and Gali, while a neat design on its own, doesn't really look anything like Gali.

As for the Protectors, they look pretty cool, especially the Protector of Earth with that purple. The Skull Krata is weird though, his face looks strangely cartoon-like or something. Doesn't really seem to fit the aesthetic.

Overall, I'm happy with these, especially Tahu, Lewa, Kopaka and Pohatu. It's great that Bionicle is finally back, I'm excited to see these guys!

I may have to buy some of these. :lol
