I can say one nice thing about Super Megaforce. They handled the Rangers not being able to use the Gokaiger suits better than Megaforce handled them not being able to use their Miracle Armor against MothMonsterMan. They explained why Orion wasn't there, why they couldn't use their powers, it all kind of made sense. In Megaforce there was nothing. Just "Er.... we forgot?" What about RoboKNight?! "Um.. he was busy pretending to be a tree?"

That's because the Vrak episodes were about the only episodes they put real effort into. And it really showed.

More of a general franchise/business question by why does Saban make such destructive deals with Nick? I know Nick is pretty much their only option for a network at this point, but I don't know why Nick keeps putting these franchise hurting 20 episode season deals on the table and Saban was okay with it.

Because as it stands 20-26 episodes is the industry standard now. For both hour long, and half hour shows. Some are even 13, but those are cable shows usually. Network shows are 20-26 a season. Once Upon a Time, Glee, 24, Lost, Big Bang Theory, ect. Power rangers is unique for a kids show because it needs 35-40 episodes to adapt well and tell a good story. That is hard to do in a single season, since in Japan, they don't have the 20-26 season limit like we seem to do. Nick is just playing to industry standards. Disney was more than easy to get away with the longer seasons because Disney is a very rich and powerful company. Back then, they could do, and no one cared. Also, they probably wanted to keep in line with the current sentai. Unlike now, where we are falling more and more behind every series.

Meanwhile, over here in Britain, with Six episodes a series I everything but Doctor Who and Sherlock...

To be fair, Nickelodeon's parent company, Viacom, isn't exactly poor. Their operating income is in the billions.

Aside from that, later seasons didn't. Clearly, with team ups they happened in the same universe. So why, then, in Ninja Storm, did Blue and Red not believe power rangers existed. If an evil force the year before in another part of the country was trying to destory the world, and helmet superheros stopped them, then there would be news coverage, and no doubt about power rangers existence.

Also, not every season had the rangers losing powers. If there was trouble across the country, then they should be able to get there fast and fight the monsters with their overpowered mega suits of death.

It just seems that not many seasons are connected nowadays. Heck in SuperMegaForce, the only connection we got was Casey and those past rangers. Samurai tried to connect RPM, and it made a good excuse for why RPM wasn't the end of the series, like disney made it to be.

I may be looking too far into this I say. I haven't watched much Sentai, so I don't know if they lose their powers, or what every time. I remember Kyoryuger did, I think Gobusters did, but I don't know. It will be interesting to see how Nininger and Kyroyuger team up, off topic I know.

The Kyoryugers kept their powers at the end of the series. And the Ninningers wouldn't team up with them anyway. I presume you mean ToQGers, and while they didn't lose their powers fully, they gave them up to live a normal life.

Right, ToQGers, duh. But yeah, even in sentai if they keep their powers, they don't rush to help the team right away. I know its a new season, seperate team, but it kinda harms continuity. Not even in power rangers do they ever reference past attacks.
