Ghost Synopsis

"Our hero, Takeru Tenkuuji, aims to become a Ghost Hunter. One day, a mysterious eyeball called the “Ghost Icon (Ore Tamashii)” is sent to him by his deceased father.

However, Takeru ends up being killed by a Ganma (a monster from another world) that was after the Ghost Icon! In order to save his childhood friend Akari from the Ganma, Takeru is granted a temporary life by using the Ghost Icon with the Ghost Driver to become a Kamen Rider!

Now, as Kamen Rider Ghost, Takeru must travel the world to collect the 15 Ghost Icons of “Great Men” in 99 days so that he can be granted one wish. Takeru is thrown into a war that may change the fate of the world itself!"

So instead of being stationed in one city, Ghost will instead be traveling the world in that iguana-ship to look for the other Eyecons.

That sounds like a VERY Good idea.

The base bike is a skeleton horse. That's awesome enough.

The combined Iguana bike, though...That's the best thing since the Wizardragon.

I am absolutely in love with this season. The design, the gimmicks, the motif and concept and just...oh my God I love it. I even want the driver.

Still can't believe I'm looking at a ghost galleon combine with a skeleton motorcycle to create an iguana mount fresh out of Warcraft, and I love it.

The story is also really cool. Our main hero is already dead, and he has a time limit to complete his mission. The pacing will be interesting to say the least.

I haven't been excited like this for a season of KR ever. I mean, I've only been around since Wizard, so I haven't seen too many rumor/news seasons, but damn I cannot wait.

Every single damn thing I've seen about this show so far sells me harder than I could ever have hoped. So over the top and crazy. Love it.

I do really like the idea of travelling around.

That sounds like such a cool story.

So I was mostly right about the capturing ghost thing.

Knowing the name of a second rider so soon is a good sign we are going to have more than two riders again this year and I'm going to guess his souls( different forms) eyecons will not count towards the 15 Great Men eyecons (which will most likely give him a new hood/ weapon and not a new body) so when you add 30 past riders and most likely 5 souls forms for ghost a soul(or two) for specter we will most likely see 40+ eyecons which sound normal for a rider series

Oh man thinking about it, since you'd have to die to become an eyecon, I'd love to see if they incorporate Rider eyecons (cus you know there will be Rider eyecons) into the movies like they did with fourze-gaim (did drive do anything with it's rider themed shift bikes?)

Story sounds awesome and far more focused than Drive. Getting pumped.

Well I have seen my fair share of Rider Series and well in some series not all Riders make it to the end of the show, maybe they can do some thing with that

The Iguana Ghostriker is literally the weirdest Kamen Rider vehicle to date. And that is certainly saying something.

EDIT: I'm hoping JUST the bike is called the Ghoststriker and he rides around on that alone the majority of the time. Also hope there are other entirely different vehicles that combine with the bike to become different animals... ones that potentially look cooler than this thing.

I'm so pumped for this show. Bring on The Ghost Rider!!!

Kamen Rider Ghost.....please be here already.

I can feel this is going to be good. I don't get it though are his eyecons called ore eyecons or ghost eyecons? I think they are taking some inspiration from Kiva. The iguana reminds me of Castle Doran a little. Specter seems cool and telling by his design I get sense that he will be more of a darker anti hero secondary rider. Specter's ahoulde pads remind me of the Budou armor. And he looks demonic in a way.

Kamen Rider Ghost is "What if Kamen Rider went Around the World in 80 days with Supernatural elements"

This is big example of Toei take risk with Kamen Rider than Super Sentai because they actually gonna to have Kamen Rider Ghost travel AROUND THE WORLD than Japan.

Oh I'm aware some riders have died, but usually the gimmick items are used for the main riders who as far as I'm aware are still alive and kicking so it'll be funny to see if they have to die to become the eyecons. Like they've pretty much died everytime with gimmicks (rider war comes to mind) but it'll be interesting to see how they handle it here when the person has to actually die as opposed to it was a trick all along haha suck it shocker!

I'm not sure what they're callled in general but ore eyecon seems to just refer to Ghost's personal base eyecon.

However I will say I love the design.

A few thoughts running through my head, mostly involving that shaded out monster a few pages back by the Eyecon. I mean, just saying "Great Person" doesn't mean they're necessarily good.

What if the "Great Persons" he's tasked with capturing are evil? Napoleon,Vlad the Impaler, Genghis Khan,etc.

And what if when those spirits inhabit human bodies, they become monsters, like the one shown shaded out?

I mean it does state that he has to "capture" the ghosts. Maybe he has to do so as a contract to whoever granted him the extra life to do so and as a reward could possibly get his life back because those ghosts are bad.

I guess whatever Riders we get for the movie die and Ghost uses their power to beat the big bad and brings them back.

So I wonder if we will be back to two riders again or do a show with 3+. Since Wizard, we had at least more then two riders. Wizard had Wizard, Beast, Wiseman and the Mages. Gaim had Gaim, Baron, Ryugen and a shit ton more. Drive had Drive, Mach and Chaser.

So Kamen Rider Ghost is comedy because famous historical figure can be over the top since one of them might don't speak good japanese language.

I am excited with all the news today, the plot sounds interesting and the Vehicle looks awesome. That we're getting the Secondary Rider sooner rather than later I love. Honestly they are going to be apart of the story might as well get them in sooner. Agito's one of my favorites and the secondary Rider appeared before the main one lol.

Okay, I tried to translate the Ghost Icon from the catalogue image we saw. It says "Benkei (Strongman) Ghost Icon" and what I could translate from the call, it says "Aniki! Mukimuki (muscles)" I can't translate the last word :lol

EDIT: Turns out "Benkei" is the name of an actual historical figure!

It certainly seems to be the case and knowing the secondary rider so far in advance (before we've even seen live action photos of the main rider even) makes me think we'll get at least four, minus any movie Riders.

When there's something weirddd in the neighborhood...who ya gonna call??? :p

But anyways...really looking forward to this! Gonna be interesting to see how they build on the momentum that Drive already has going for itself with Ghost.

So then Will Ghost do on location shoots? It would be real cool to a Kamen rider fighting in another country.

I doubt they have the money to do that, but it would be awesome if they did.

I'm pretty sure Toei has the money. But not willing to pay it.

It looks like the secondary rider uses the same belt. Here's hoping we get more rider's this season.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised to see how many cities around the world have an old factory complex, a warehouse, and Tokyo stadium. :p
