I see what they're trying to do with the Green Ranger/Dragon motif going on there, but I kinda wish they took at least a couple of design cues from the original. Nothing about the design says Rita to me.

I wonder if Rita's design can give us a clue about what the ranger suits will look like?

Seems like she might already hold the dragon power but its corrupted or something.

There's a lot of diamonds and hard angles on her midsection, and the upper body looks intentionally incomplete.

Eh, I've seen worse It's not very classic-witch, but it does look like Maleficent from that movie a couple of years ago. Who was a witch. And who was also a dragon.

Then allow me to be more specific. I'm not saying everyone should be in love with this suit design. If you don't like it, more power to you. I do like it. What I'm trying to say is maybe, some people (Not all), should chill with the "Ruined my Childhood" stuff that always seems to happen when this stuff comes out. She isn't going to be what she was in the show.

Back on topic, I really do love this. Especially seeing it beside Green Ranger and the Power Coin like I did on Twitter, and hearing how they wanted her to have a connection to these new Rangers. They did a really good job.

Looks very generic. If you told me that this was the Enchantress or a female Baron Mordo, I'd agree.

There is one question I have about this design. What's with the rope? Everything else seems to flow with the design, but the long green rope around her neck seems to be a bit off for me.

It seems it to be the same material as her hair tie/wrap, so I dunno what's going on with it.

Rita is really into bondage.

Definitely not what I was expecting. To be fair, I wasn't sure what I was expecting, but I know it wasn't this.

If the new Rita makeup was intended as a new Scorpina (or maybe a brand new lieutenant) I'd be pretty happy with that. To me, the new Rita makeup doesn't scream the head honcho of a villainous organization, it feels like more of a makeup for an assistant. Even though Bandora/Rita was a witch he overall profile and makeup still provided a very regal-like and imposing character.

I see it now. Bit it's awfully long. :lol

All I'm seeing is another take on Witchblade. Not getting a Rita vibe from this design.

They're definitely not being very subtle with the Green Ranger/Dragonzord inspiration for her costume. Which does make sense for Rita honestly.

If this overly sexual and "unlikely-to-get-a-corresponding-figure-in-the-toyline" press shot is meant to represent "Rita Revealed", what will the rest of them look like? Will Goldar look like "Goldar" (hopefully without the "made-out-of-stolen-gold" rumor)? Squat and Baboo and Finster (if they're even included), and the Putties? Will any of the old monsters appear and get a new look like the creatures in the recent Goosebumps?

She has boob armor, sure, but I wouldn't exactly call that image "overly sexual". Of course, it's a subjective issue so I guess our frame of references might be fairly far apart.

I don't like the new design for Rita. Not gonna lie.

So I guess they got this from The Wolverine prop warehouse cause as cool and draconian this may seem THIS is not Rita. This looks like a updated look of the green villain lady from The Wolverine movie.
I can see that they are trying to tie it with the whole Green Ranger thing but come on, at least have some resemblance to the source.
I am all for toning down the silly factor but really?

Just a shame that they deviated too much.

The design itself isn't bad, but unless specifically told who that is, I never would have guessed Rita. It's fine with me though, if it is intended to thematically match with the Green Ranger and Dragonzord then it makes sense. I would have liked it to evoke the original design at least a little bit just so it's recognizably Rita, but it works well enough for me.

I think a good fix would be to give her some sort of hat or helmet and maybe put her in a robe or cloak that she could throw off at some point. Rita should definitely have something large on her head, I think that's probably the main thing.

I think another alternative could be this being her so-called combat form and when not fighting have a robe of some sort like you said that somewhat resembles the Rita people are familiar with.

I like the costume. Its something new and fresh. I wonder if the color green will have any connection to the Green Ranger. Although I like it, it would've been better to have the hat or something that resembles it.

I think having a green ranger asthetic makes sense for Rita, yeah that's all i have to say.

Looks like an interesting design, I just wish there was some aspect of this design that was recognizable as Rita.

What are those metallic things next to the hand? I thought it had to do with the rangers but there are six of them. So yeah does anyone have any guesses on whats with the dirt spot things on Poison Ivy's arms? Maybe she control things with her hair whip thing and this is NO WAY over sexualized, I have seen rule34 Rita and wow you can never look at Rita the same way after that

I would not know if that Rita until I saw the news for the movie. I would assume that it's a X-Men movie mutant. I still hope that this movie could be decent.
