Dai4 has once more listed new stuff early. I can't read kanji, so unfortunately I don't know if this has any new information.

The only relevant thing is probably the price. Dai4 prices are inflated, but still give us a decent idea...more or less. They have it listed at ~1000 cheaper than the Sunglasslasher, around the same price as the Saber. Their prices don't follow any real consistent pattern in their markups that I've managed to spot, but...yeah.

Which is better: Gashapon Eyecons or Candy Toy Eyecons?

So is anyone else collecting the ghost change line?

I bought Ghost then sold him and replaced him with Spectre. Haven't bought any of the parkas but that's about to change. I'm planing on picking up the Tut and Nobunaga set. I know a lot of people issues with the figures (totally understandable) but I'm quite happy I have Spectre.

Movie Taisen Genesis’ pre-screening happened and some people are spoiling the Internet. But let’s stay skeptical in case of trolling.

For the Chase lovers, he « comes back to life » because of the change of events in the past but disappears in a heart breaking scene with Go at the end.

The height of uselessness (and curiosity), the true DaVinci Eyecon appears but is not used by Ghost nor Specter. The Drive Eyecon also appears but is not used either.

Kazuhiko Nishimura (Ryu Tenkuji / Yellow Lion in Liveman) makes a reference precisely to Yellow Lion.

If you saw the last trailer, Takeru (in Ghost Toucon Boost) shouts « Kamen Rider Ghost To-san Damashii » (Father spirit). It is explained in this movie that Takeru obtains his Toucon Boost form with the help of his father.

Two things are spoiled after the end credits. The first is Kamen Rider Necrom. As we already knew, he’s mainly green and looks very mechanical.

don't know what to think about the drive and ghost movie eyecons

Uh, most of that has nothing to do with Ghost toys, so it'd be a lot better to move that to the Genesis thread or put it under spoilers. Maybe both.

This has basically turned into a general Ghost thread since a lot of people are posting news here. People need to start posting more often in the OFFICIAL Kamen Rider Ghost thread so news posts don't come here.

We've just been posing toy news, though. I think Sentai King got confused and posted in the wrong thread, which is no biggy.

Huh. So I found myself on TV-kun's website. There's a big ol block of text under the Ikkyu Eyecon section. If what google translate is telling me is true, firstly, Ikkyu is a building kit of some sort. Itself not a big deal. Not really a deal at all. But then, if google is correct about this from what I can make out of the garbled result, the button on Ikkyu doesn't do anything. It's not used for the changing of patterns. Instead the iris is a single lenticular image that switches between the blank, numbering and face modes depending on the angle at which you look at it.

And you know, looking at their official pictures closely I can definitely see it. There's this little bit of plastic sticking out of the bottom of the sclera. There appear to be no screws on the corners. And the picture on the iris seems a bit grainy/pixelly...like it would on a lenticular image. Probably most importantly, you can definitely see the 一 kanji overlaid on the face pattern. And in the smaller pictures of it in the 一 mode, you can still sort of make out the question mark design.

So that...appears to be what the deal with Ikkyu is. I guess my eyes could be playing tricks on me or something but...it looks like it.

Man. I don't even know if I want it anymore? I want all the Eyecons and all but this one is just too weird. I just...don't know.

Yeah, that's not something I'm going to be able to tell personally until at least March. I have no idea how their internal mechanism or plastic quality differs. Just from pictures it looks like the SG ones have slightly better stickers (At least, the text on them), but it's hard to really say just from stickers.

Is it the January issue of Tv-kun that has the eyecon?

Gashapon is the one that comes in the orange spheres right?

I don't know for sure, but I am pretty sure it's not. It's going to be the regular magazine, not Super TV-kun, it's going to be February, not January, and it's supposed to come out on the 26th I think. On the other hand, I don't know what other toy that's gonna come with.

I found a video where someone took apart the 3 types of eyecons and I personally think Gashapon is better than candy toy since its mechanism is more like the DX eyecon's mechanism.

ANOTHER set of Ganma Eyecons. I could easily pass on the other ones but man, I kind of want these. The trans color backing is nice. I don't really like the faces for the Renaissance guys though. If it comes with Javelle's though I'm gonna be all over it. Egh. Guess we'll see. Hope the price isn't any more than for the other one...

I wouldn't mind these ones if they had a little bit of functionality, the last set was pretty lackluster for the price. I wonder if these were going to be in the cancelled dx movie set.

6k+ is a little steep for something that is a standalone driver for a single form. If the rumors are true I will only pick it up if it has a crazy amount of sounds and a badass gimmick, maybe if spectre or necron uses it as well.

If it some how turns out to be an attachment for the Ghost Driver, i'll for sure get it.

I doubt it will be used for only a SINGLE form. I can assume that just about every Eyecon will be compatible with it and that Ghost will also use that same Driver to assume his final form.

Despite what the sounds and title tell, I'd like to think of the Ghost Driver (for all intents and purposes) as Specter's Driver. Ghost is just using it until he gets his own. :p

Also, dai4 really likes to inflate prices. For reference, that Driver has the same price as the Saber, which is not 6k+. I'm not saying it's gonna cost the same as the Saber, but it might. At the least, it won't be that expensive.

Thanks. Huh. The Gashapon does seem to be closer to the DX as far as the right button that isn't a button does. Hm. I wonder if it actually makes a difference in how it works or if it's just cosmetic. Interesting though.

Looks like I'm going to pass on this one, it doesn't even take in the eyecons. I really hope this isn't the final form, it would have been nice if the final form is something to do with the ghost driver.

I'm gonna say yes. I have looked and found 0 tv-kun issue that has something similar to that. Unless OOO comes back to tells us.

That's just because it hasn't been put up yet. The new volumes for TV-kun don't go up until it's close to the release date. The one with Ikkyu comes out around the 26th, it's not gonna be up for preorder already.

Ghost already has so many toys and forms, the show could have it's final form early and still end the show in August-September.

I can see that being the case if Toucon Boost is the mid-season.

So who will use the Napoleon Ghost Eyecon? I guess it will not be made or it will be use for Specter. Or maybe for a summer movie villain that uses ghost eyecon of evil dictators.

Ugh. Absolutely disgusting. 6480 yen. For 5 eyeballs. that's...uh. 1300 a pop. It's better than the other one at least, but not by much. Especially with middleman fees...

At least they do switch between blank and face, but I wish they had more. But they do look pretty good and it does include Javelle...I think I may need to get it.

I'm betting the fifth is gonna end up being Alan's or something.

I need to find a good middleman service.
