Rayman is a red herring.

Today's reveal will be Shulk. Count on it.

I think the reveal will be Shulk, but there's gotta be something from Ubisoft in there.

The signs have been pointing to Shulk, but I wouldn't say no to a double reveal with Rayman too, Origins and Legends made him worthwhile again.

I think it's cool, Assist Trophy or otherwise.

I've read about the Rayman trophy today and I really have to commend Ubisoft for going the extra mile in getting a whole new 3D model for the Smash Team to use.

Dare I say it, but now I'm an eager beaver for this game. I still think something could go wrong but that's the bitter part of me talking.

EDIT: What the hell did Shulk do other than be a oddly pretty man? Seems like an odd choice since Marth and Ike are still in this game. Why add such an unknown guy?

Well that's cool I haven't seen Lucina and Robin before but they look awesome and Captain Falcon coming back is sweet. I really hope Chrom is some how playable.

But all Lucina is, is just a girl Marth.
Roy is a Marth clone with a unique design at least.

So how high do you think the chances are of that leak being true? Everyone has been accounted for, except the fact that Chrom isn't playable and is just a final smash.

But seriously she should have just been a damn skin. Robin has multiple gender skins. Even though they're different characters, I know, it's what should have been done with Marth and Lucina.

They need more female characters. I thought they were just going to replace Marth with her, but even after he was announced, I didn't think for a second Lucina wouldn't be in.

Personally, I don't have a problem with clones though. I'd be happy if they added a lot more, it only adds more variety to the game and unless you're a Miiverse poster who believes there's a limited amount of character slots she's now taken up, there's not really a downside. Clones for everyone!

Not really, it just bugs me that they replaced a clone with another clone.

They didn't really "replace" Roy though since he wasn't in Brawl...

If it makes you feel better Robin seems like a breath of fresh air to the series since his/her tomes could hold some combo potential.

Also Captain Falcon's back after we were all worried he wouldn't get back in.

I miss Roy too but these three hold promise to some fun times. Change can be frustrating; believe me I know how you feel but don't look at this as an end of a era. It's the start of something exciting and who knows what Nintendo character will get to enjoy Smash stardom.

*looks it up* Sakurai never once said "She's a copy paste or Roy...all he said was the she's similar to Marth. That could mean anything. I did not know that they put the Mark or Naga in her left eye. That's awesome!

Also, because of the way you said it, I assumed your information was fake, same with Rayman. Please do cite your sources in the future.

I suppose i didn't say it right, it was described that Marth's power was at the tip of hi's blade while Lucina's wasn't, it's the same as Marth and Roy back in melee.

Thou I always wondered why Jody Summers was such an ugly hardass in that show. She wasn't like that in the games.

BOT: It's a good thing both games don't come out at the same time. When the 3DS version comes out I'll be busy learning the characters, control scheme and level layouts.

By the time I unlock most of the 3DS stuff the Wii U version will come out. Hopefully I'll get the one with the new controller. It would be nice to kick butts with the GG controller one last time.

So do you guys think well be seeing trophies of other Namco, Capcom ad Sega characters since they introduced the idea of third party trophies?
Like Phoenix wright who's a Capcom character who has all hi's games on Nintendo stuff.

I strongly doubt that. My guess is they'll keep with the Mega Man series with Mega Man and the Sonic series with Sonic.

However with Pac-Man using attacks based on old arcade game the Namco trophies will be all over the place.

Well, I haven't played Melee in years, all I remember is Roy being a faster Marth.

Well Marth and Roy's stat difference isn't really that noticeable, i only learned that fact a few months ago.
