Yeah, they're two similar properties that are tonally worlds away from each other. I'd be more worried if it were Ghost's head writer. Or INOUE.

Man, all this hating on writers that I love lol. Riku Sanjou was great on Kyoryuger (*CoughBlatantlyBiasedCough*), I loved Ghost's writer, and I practically love everything Inoue's done lol. Though, the guy who wrote NinNinger does make me more excited for Build because I loved NinNinger and the GoRider special is one of the best things from Kamen Rider.

Very disquieting, mostly because Ninninger had so little ambition in terms of long-term plotting. Its overall story was painfully short. I'm hoping the rumor isn't true.

If it's true, I'll have to hope that writing a solo Rider rather than an ensemble Sentai will bring out a different side of his writing.

I think it would be cool if that is the case.

Was the Writer involved in Toku before?

No, he's new to tokusatsu. His previous notable works include Crows Zero and Densha Otoko, basically a number of dramas. None of which I'm familiar with, but I haven't heard anything too bad yet.

So we have a fresh writer for this? Well, fresh to Toku. And he's done a lot of other Dramas? This could be pretty good.

Huge relief in the face of prior rumors, and yet another new-to-toku writer following Gaim, Ghost, and Ex-Aid. (I hope I'm not misremembering these.) If nothing else, I don't know what to expect from Build, and that could turn out to be a good thing.

Also, is the new promotional image the first time we've gotten a clear look at the feet? It looks like each half has a unique boot shape, miming a tread for Tank and a paw for Rabbit. It also looks like Build is carrying the Hedgehog FullBottle. Unless we think that's Diamond...?

I assume the new plot details will bear a similar relationship to the actual show to the similar early plot synopses for other recent Rider series: maybe technically accurate, but not necessarily a good indicator of the show's trajectory.

Not technically, the gimmick figures revealed the tank thread foot earlier, but yes, this is the first time we get a good look at the actual suit's feet. I'm unsure that the other foot is supposed to be Rabbit-specific, however, since the gimmick figures all seem to have similar feet. Hard to tell without better images though.

But yes, that should be Harinezumi, you can see Diamond on his Full Bottle Holder in the bike picture, it's an entirely different color.

Not necessarily, as this is a press release coming out a mere month before the show starts, it should be pretty final. Catalog stuff can be preliminary, but this is too close to the real deal for that.

Nah, if you look closely, I think it's pretty clear than Diamond and Gatling's feet are different as well. I'm sure that a vague rabbit foot shape is entirely intentional.

That plot summary is wild. Not gonna lie, I'm still kinda butthurt that Ex-Aid is ending early (why couldn't they do that last year when the show sucked?), but that...that sounds damn cool.

And hey, there are treads on the tank form after all! Still don't understand how you have a tank form without a cannon on it, but I assume the DrillCrusher will be playing that part.

I think with the tank aspect it is more of an abstract representation of raw power than firepower. But then again I would not be surprised if they added something to do with firepower along the way such as a finishing move, etc. if it seems too vague.

What do you mean Ex-Aid is ending early? It's going to be what, 48 episodes? That's not early.

Frankly, I think if they feel the story is done by 45, then that is when the show should end. Too many shows have been stretched out to 50 episodes and you can feel it. Hell, Changeman is 55 episodes and it felt like the show was about to end after ep 45.
