I'm holding my breath. The RKF blog has been very active since Saber started, and only stopped doing weekly posts(as of 2 months ago) because they didn't want to post anything RKF related unless they had news.
Considering how long and hard this line has kicked overall, I wouldn't count on it genuinely being dead until it's announced so. It's pretty bizarre to me - the line picked up a lot of traction for Saber. Incredible levels of improvement compared to Zi-O and Zero-One. I knew these figures being so fucking cheap would eventually kill the line, but I would never expect it to happen in the middle of the series. Fingers crossed that they at least finish Saber. If they decide to release 2-4 figures a month again, they could easily wrap things up. One of my most anticipated releases, Oma Zi-O, came out almost a year after Zi-O's series ended, so it's possible that they continue RKF Saber and release Revice's new toy line(or they stick to RKF) at the same time. I think the worst case scenario to expect is the line ends with RKF Cross Saber. They did mention that this could possibly be RKF's last year, but they've also covered almost every final form even for series' that have long ended, so we'll at least see that. |
Is there any candy toys version of the big wonder ride book especially dragonic knight?

After loosing hope for Saber’s final form is in red, (eventough we still don’t know wether Cross Saber is te real final or not), I think im good for my Saber’s RKFs sets. Yea, i can let go the RKFs now, if they’re cancelled.

That jingle is so Hyper Muteki! I really need to know why they won't show what Hybrid Saber is and why does it specifically only require Dragon Arthur.

Since June scans are out, the only chance of Xross Saber having anything else up its sleeve would be in July, or episode 40 onwards. |

Hot dang Xross Saber's jingle is hilariously long. Might as well make that the show's theme song lol.

Brave Dragon for some reason has a unique sound (I think) for Noroshi
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63ZSwYauFuw |
This is apparently the other way around -- Konchuu Daihyakka has a unique sound in the sword due to its unique mold (ie her normal henshin phrase), while every other Ridebook activates a generic Wonder Rider sound
|

Still, odd that Needle Hedgehog plays Konchuu Daihyakka while Brave Dragon played something different. That or I'm being obtuse. |

It's not the unique mold. A long press of the trigger turns Noroshi(and Kaiji) from its Standard Mode to its Extra Volume Mode. The Standard Mode's transformation and finishers are themed around their base WRB, while the Extra Volume Mode turns the sounds more generic, themed around the sword's element.
For example, Noroshi's first finisher in Standard Mode is "Insect Shot", while in Extra Volume Mode it's "Smoke Strike". This blog post explains it, it's in Japanese, but machine transaltion is enough to get the gist of it. At most some of the names might not translate properly. |
|
Neat. I may try and get the Kaiji at least.

I wonder something. What would the price be for a Set containing the Dooms Driver Buckle, the Belt Parts, the Omni Force Wonder Ride Book, and the Caladbolg Sword? The Dooms Driver Buckle is yet another Jaken Caliburdriver Repaint after the Seiken Saikou Driver. The Omni Force Wonder Ride Book is a remold of the X-Swordsman Wonder Ride Book, and the Caladbolg Sword is a Repaint/Retool of the Kingexcalibur, with it's own ability to become the King of Solomon Robot. If you were to buy them, how much would you pay for that entire set?
|
Apparently the belt straps of the CSM Sengoku Driver fit the DX Swordriver?? A bit unexpected and random but pretty cool if you happen to be a fan of both!

Hmm, maybe they're trying to make a universal belt clip system? What if Revice's Driver uses the same clips so it's compatible with both of those?
|
Majority of drivers since abouuuut OOO* have had very similar belt clips, other than oddballs like drive or possibly a few cases where it goes in at a different angle due to the belt width (there's also a few like the Shotriser that have a different system altogether). I don't think they're all compatible necessarily but it's not a surprise that many seemingly are!
*...come to think of it, it might even be Accel? To my knowledge the DoubleDriver was the last to do the odd "one side of the belt clip can't be removed" thing, though I think the CSM 1.5 may even have corrected that |
The Dooms Driver Buckle set has been revealed.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E6nSSVLU...jpg&name=small And apparently, the name of Storious’ Rider form is “Kamen Rider Strius” |
Most likely just a translation mishap. Even the RealxTime toys had some translation errors.
Storious' book and the Uchusen book still refers to him as "Storious". |

FYI, for those interested, today's toy blog post confirms that there are currently no plans to release Caladbolg, Master Logos' sword. They basically state that it falls into the same limbo that Yujou Burst was previously. But they do imply that if the Omniforce/Grimoire set sells well, they might consider releasing it. |

Edit: suddenly got a notif from Zenmarket. I failed, she sold out immediately! https://pbs.twimg.com/media/E7LYiZtV...jpg&name=small |
Sales figures are now out for Saber's Q2 and Q3. They're down a little from Zero-One but still basically the same

I’d assume it’s just because 01 is extraordinarily popular. Saber so far is still one of Rider’s bestselling toylines assuming it keeps to its pace

Well, I bought my first RKF with Calibur! ... Don't think I'll do that again!
I made sure to temper my expectations going into it, it is a kid's figure after all; but so much about it just doesn't work for me at all and actually seems to go against that? The main gimmick of "rip off and replace the torso for a completely different design" works well, and certain parts like Jaaku's head have very nice paint apps, but it's all the little things around it -- the hands are awful to try and replace, and the ones that are supposed to hold the sword always end up dropping it. The head articulation is blocked badly by the collar, the plastic quality just feels ~slimy~ in a way that's hard to get across... I dunno. I might have just gotten a bad copy (it didn't help that this one's sword was bent which Manda didn't mention...) but I remember the gimmick figures in Ex-Aid, Drive and OOO being far far better than this. I'll be replacing this with a SO-DO Jaou Dragon if it's cheap at my next opportunity and not revisit this line again, I think |
(should this thread still be pinned btw?)

I also absolutely HATE the fact that they have universal weapon holding hands. It makes no fucking sense for that to be a thing when practically every single Kamen Rider weapon has a different sized grip. Even Kenzan's weapons don't share the same grip on the RKF. Bent accessories is a pretty big problem with this line too - because again, soft plastic. I ended up dropping this line because SO-DO figures are basically perfect action figures once you've sealed the stickers(the fact they use hard plastic makes this process much easier, too). The only things RKF had going for it were fast releases and the vast Legend Rider selection - neither of which are things that they do anymore. |
