Nah, considering they have to sell toys maybe they will release one of those bazooka weapons ala Kiryoku Bazooka from Dairanger. Especially considering the JAKQ reference with Zenkaiser and how they were the first sentai to have heavy artillery. Having said that, I kinda am expecting them to have a Gorenger storm type finishing attack for the first number of episodes until they get said artillery weapon.

With how much focus is being placed on Zenkaiser, I'm kind of wondering. In 5 years, during the next anniversary and they do the all red photo shoot. Will we see Zenkaiser or Zenkai Zyuran in that assembly? :lol

We~ll Spade Ace does make the cut in those group photos despite Big One being the center in JAKQ, so we probably will get Zyuran for the all-red photo shoots I assume.

Spade Ace was actually the leader and main character in the beginning! Big One was only brought on about halfway through the series, where he was introduced and made leader to try and boost ratings (it didn't work). So Spade Ace does fit in with the rest of the Reds role-wise

No, she’s Kaito’s grandmother Yatsude. She’s played by a former supermodel who’s prominent in Japan and from all appearances, she’ll be playing the mentor role for this season (Taka from Kotetsu Toys guessed she might transform at some point, since she’s seen using the Geartlinger)

It’s unlikely, considering none of the actors are screen actors. At most, they’ll do a “cameos in the final episode as a suitably similar human character”. Plus from what I’ve seen, the last time they had non-humanoid Rangers take on human forms (Zyuohger) didn’t go down well. (Though that was more due to execution rather than concept in some cases)

And new ranger ideas to add on the team?

Ninja-themed named ZenkaiTenkuu sounds like a 6th ranger.

The generals for this season are Action Captain Barshitara (If you Leak) and Technician Ijirude. The grunts are known as Kudakku (To make something down), who are led by a Kudaiter.

Ijiru gives individual Kudakku a ToJiru Gear, linking them with the powers of a parallel world to create a Warudo (bad guy) with the powers of that world. The first one in the show is Kinoko (mushroom) Warudo.

When a Warudo is defeated, a giant robotic Kudaitest absorbs them to transform into a replica (akin to Fiveman and Hurricaneger) of the Warudo at giant size.

The Sentai Gears grant the Zenkaigers the individual abilities of each Sentai, similar to Ultraman Taiga’s accessories (particularly, the Monster Rings). Known abilities granted ar the Ribbon Spark from the Goggle V gear (which is the only ability they ever use in crossovers and anniversaries where they appear) and the Zyuohger gear grants Kaito ZyuohEagle’s wings.

You know... It would be hilarious if Takehito Koyasu voiced a villain in this. Also the legacy powers for this season sound great, in this formula, I could see them using these throughout the show rather than dropping them when the heroes get a new powerup like in rider, something I like about Sentai, from what I've seen so far.

If anything, I feel like new forms are going to be the thing that indicates a powerup.

The red ranger is likely to get forms based on each dino sentai that's existed, and I could see the yellow ranger getting a Hurricanger-themed form, due to Hurricanger's main mech being formed primarily by the mech their yellow ranger pilots. Similar conjectures could be made for both of the remaining robot-themed rangers, and Zenkaiser may get a giant mech form during Q3, and perhaps a Dekaranger-themed form before that.

the Evil Dynasty Tojitendo.

The first one kind of reminds me of Jyumenki from Kamen Rider Amazon 1974 for some reason. The others look interesting, especially the third one, who looks very different from normal Sentai villains as far as I've seen. Then again, I've only seen Lupin vs. Patren onwards, so I could be wrong.

So new info about Secchan and Tojitendo that I picked up from Toei's official site.

Secchan, the Zenkaiger's robotic bird companion is the creation of Kaito/Zenkaiser's parents. Secchan has a habit of ending sentences with the word"tune". Misato Fukuen who voiced Kanegon last year in Ultraman Z will be acting.

Tojitendo's King is Bokkowauss, the monarch of the Tojitendo and seems like he is caved inside a wall. He summons his subordinates to the Tojitendo Palace and rebukes them. Bokkowauss is also aided by his pet robotic bird Gege(pronounced geh-geh) and is voiced by Joji Nakata, famous for his many roles in tokusatsu such as Sir Cowler of Flashman, Bias of Liveman, and Roshuo of Kamen Rider Gaim to name a few.

Gege as stated above is Bokkowauss's pet robotic bird and takes pride in being Bokkowauss's favorite to the point of acting charming to Bokkowauss to get what it wants and changes tone when dealing with Bokkowauss's subordinates. Gege will be voiced by Tatsuhisa Suzuki, the voice of Kit Taylor and Adam in Kamen Rider Dragon Knight's Japanese dub, Zack Taylor in the 2017 MMPR movie's Japanese dub, Buddyroid Usada and Atsushi Domyoji/Green Hippopotamus in Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters.

Barashitara is the field leader of the Tojitendo kingdom. He is a warrior who loves invading other parallel worlds. (Toei's official sites do say that he tends to be seen enjoy going along with the Zenkaiger's slapstick routine at times, so a dangerous foe nonetheless but probably will be comic relief.) Barashitara will be voiced by Kenji Nomura(actual brother to Hirofumi Nomura who was Warz Gill in Gokaiger) who has voiced many monsters in past sentai shows, most notably Cobolda in GogoV.

Ijirude is the advisor of the Tojitendo and loves tinkering with machines and the modified soldiers of their army. He can go overboard for the sake of research, but is the most passionate about Tojitendo's future out of everyone. He has also succeeded in tinkering with parallel worlds thanks to stealing the technology from "a certain scientist". (Personal note, I bet that certain scientist is one of Kaito's parents.) Ijirude is voiced by Masanori Takeda, whose tokusatsu debut is this very show as he mostly does Japanese dub roles and currently is the go-to person for dubbing Chiwetel Ejiofor, Djimon Hounsou, and Mike Colter in Japan.

I guess GoGoFive’s first major villain is not notable.

Apparently Bokkowauss is described by Toei as "the type of boss you do not want to have" so I am expecting evil boss jokes and memes the moment they start airing this show. Probably an even worse jackass than Warz Gill with an added dosage of Les Grossman I assume.
