As for the SAL stuff I'm not sure. Their site also says that if you're paying by paypal that you can't use the SAL shipping option. Which is crazy because I placed and paid for 2 orders this week alone, that went SAL, and I used paypal to pay for them. And now they send all SAL packages registered so there is tracking included. I'd imagine there has to be a standard dollar amount of insurance included. If it makes you feel better I've done a ton of SAL orders with them on multiple Figuarts and haven't had any issues with damage yet. |

Kamen Rider OOO by Junior Octopus, on Flickr So I just got PuToTyra in, and I finally took the shot that I was so looking forward to. I'm one of those conspiracy theorist people when it comes to OOO and his final form. While PuToTyra is clearly the most powerful, dangerous, last-resort kind of form that OOO has, the fact that it pushes him to the edge of sanity, and the bestial fighting style makes it seem more of a representation of Eiji's darker side. On the other end of the spectrum is TaJaDoru, whose controlled, elegant fighting style, and his ability to do a Giga Scan (not to mention his being the final form that Eiji used against Maki) make him a representation, in my head, of perfection and civilization. Plus, there's the clashing motifs of fire and ice. So in that headcanon of mine, OOO has two final forms, and that's pretty awesome. |

All right, bad idea, ordering stuff from Mandrake. I ordered the Fourze bike, display set, and Module sets 1 and 2, thinking I was getting a good deal at 5600 yen, but add in 2400 yen for shipping and you have what turned out to be a $105 order after conversion.
If I had realized it was going to be that much once converted, I would have canceled my order. I miss the days when 8000 yen translated into $72. |
So wait. You didn't convert BEFORE hitting the submit button? Jeeze. Ever since the Yen dropped below $1=100, I check that shit out constantly. Hopefully you'll be happy with your purchase. (And I feel ya on the shock. Ordered something and came out to 4630, which is damn near $60. Damn weak ass dollar.)
