Wat. How did you gather most of this from the information we were given? There you go, making assumptions again.

The series sounds like it's gonna be pretty awesome.

I'm sorry but that's almost entirely pure conjecture with no basis in any of the information give.

Too early to judge on how these characters will be like. I hope we get something a bit different then normally.

Color me unimpressed with the cast. I'm getting freaking tired of every set of heroes being bishounen. When are we going to start getting some normal looking heroes again? Or give me a main hero that looks like Pierre from Gaim for a change.

You have to remember that these shows are intended for a Japanese audience and that's what they want to see from their heroes on shows like this.

And what is "normal" looking?

An average Joe that actually looks like an every day person you would see on the street. Not someone who looks like he just walked out of a 6 hour make up session and barely eats. Or hell, maybe someone that looks like he could actually be a super hero for a change. How about having a Steve Rogers instead of a Peter Parker? A 30-ish year old hero instead of someone who is barely legal?

Normally I don't care about bishounen, but we haven't had someone that felt like the average person in years. It would be nice to see a change from the norm every once in awhile instead of this safe zone. Hell, Ghost is having a new production team, they should have also gotten a new look for their cast in the process.

Except most of the actors they get for these shows are actually in fairly good shape. They're just lean, which isn't particularly uncommon for athletic Japanese men and considering how agile some of these Riders are suppose to be, it makes sense. Also, the audience that this show primarily targets prefers younger superheroes.

And Peter Parker IS a superhero, so I don't see where you're getting this whole "looks like a superhero" thing from. Peter Parker just has more speed, agility and flexibility than raw strength (even though he is strong). That doesn't make him less of a superhero.

You also have to keep in mind that all of these Riders have the same suit actors so the body types have to match up at least somewhat.

Wait I don't get it, you want an average joe but you want him to look like an american super hero ala Captain America who was a genetically engineered SUPER SOLDIER??

I also don't get this bishounen thing, Kouta and Shinnouske both look like normal people. Also Kouta doesn't look like a weakling as he showed several times that he is in particularly good physical shape. Both didn't even dress flamboyantly, Shinnosuke has been just been wearing suits because of his job.

In fact the only main Riders who dressed even remotely flamboyantly to me were Philip, Eiji and Haruto.
