Yeah, the SH Kiva is a decent enough figure, but it's no Figuarts. I hope they hurry and get to the Kiva forms. And the Arms Monsters. ANd Saga. And Checkmate Four.

Kickback will be handling the full gallery of this guy, but I figured I'd try my hand at a shot or two. Don't feel like changing out backdrops but he works okay on a white backdrop, seeing as the figure is more of a yellowish off-white anyway.

Kamen Rider Zangetsu: The quality control on this guy is quite bad. The right hand that is supposed to hold the shield does not lock in to the peg properly and because of such, the weight of the shield makes the hand fall out with ease. It took me 10 minutes just to get it to stay in long enough for that one shot. Not only that, but his Lock Seed and sword holster keep popping out (at least the sword actually stays inside the holster) as does his upper torso. It sucks as this is my favorite design of the initial four. On the bright side, I now have three Lock Seeds attached to Kouta's belt.

The peg on the sword holster is the greatest weakness on my Gaim figure. I had to glue it on.

Same with the elbow pads, they were already off when i got Gaim in the mail, kind of bizarre!

I have no problem with the peg on the sword holster on Gaim. I just had to cut plastic off of it and glue it together so the sword would actually stay attached to it for more than 2 seconds.

I really wish I had tried harder to get a Zangetsu now. :( While the QC issues suck (the holster appears to be worse than Gaim's from reviews I've watched), he still does just look great and the armor is so finely detailed.

UGH I hate that we have to worry about elbow pads now. So many of my figures have had loose knee pads that I've glued back into place, but my Kabuto Renewal and Gaim both have loose elbows and they're so much smaller and harder to find...

That really sucks, Zangetsu was one of the only Gaim SHFs I planned on getting.

Wait on a few more reviews before jumping on the doomed train, Dr Kain has notorious bad luck with Figuarts :lol

Just realized that the holster for the sword was getting pulled to the side a bit in that pose to fit his hand over the sword handle, causing the part of the belt it pegs into to stretch a little. So that sucks, but it's not too bad.

Yep, because I so control the quality of a toy I get.

Of course, with how crappy this year has been for me, it wouldn't surprise me if Bandai has a special case labeled, "Dr Kain's Stash" that is full of the factory defects.

I just got mine last night, haven't messed with it much, but I haven't noticed any issues with it yet. The hands are quite snug on mine, a bit difficult to get on, actually. Still not FangJoker level difficult, but they're more snug than Blade or the recent Ryuki figures.

The guys are looking nice together. Though for some reason, I think Gaim is just a little better than both of them. No specific reason, or even tangible reason, except maybe because he has two swords? IDK. But if you can only get one, my vote is on Gaim.

I agree on the Gaim point. Something about him makes him feel like a more solid release than the other two. I love them all, but Gaim seems to be a step above.

Yeah, but it's a small step, and it bugs the hell out of me that I can't figure out WHY it's a step above. What makes him feel better than the others?

I love my Deforide Ryuuki...and I haven't even watched Ryuuki yet(first time I've bought a figure before watching a show)

Man, I've always wanted one of those. That is, until they expanded on the R/D line. So hopefully we start seeing some more new guys in that line soon. I could never find Deforide for a decent price.

I was lucky to find him for $30 and free shipping which was just the highest I would of been willing to buy him for. I ordered Faiz first and now I want to finish the line if I can find Decade and Faiz Accel at a good price.

The R/D's look cool and the ones until fourze seem to have great accessory count too but the shrinking number of accessories from Fourze onward makes me hesitant to get into the line. I mean Gaim doesn't even come with his Daidaimaru. I might as well get the 66 figures.

The lower accessory count ones tend to pop up super cheap. And I'm into both R/D and 66action, lol. All the chibi stuff gets to me. 66action is much easier to collect since they're candy toys and not game machine prizes.

Oh man, I kinda want that tiny Dragredder. It's so cute.

I understand, the chibi's are adorable. And I don't mean that the 66 are bad, I might buy them myself one day when I have the spare cash, I just wish there would still be an option to get Chibi's with great accessory counts

I only have AC Duke and the Sakura Hurricane though. Can't wait till the SHF version of the Sakura Hurricane gets here. Hopefully they also announce the other Energy riders, or at least Duke.

I can't decide if I want to get a Lock vehicle Hurricane and Attacker, or the SHFs.

I mean the SHFs are pretty much just paperweights... but damn pretty paperweights.

I hear you, except I had the Lock Vehicle before the SHF's were announced. I actually ordered the SHF's for both bikes on impulse. It's true that the Lock Vehicles have more playability but I felt they are pretty pricey compared to the other DX lockseeds given that they don't have any electronics. Guess it's really up to personal preference.

I think this turned out okay given that it was show with a little point and shoot camera. Thank god for RAW files.
