And I don't know what that Swarm thing is ZECT gave everybody, but.. That's not that great either.

I can. After selling the Zector to Tendou, Tsurugi becomes a complete waste of space. By the end of the show, the only Riders not to be useless or superfluous are Kabuto and Gattack. The rest are just a huge waste of some of the best Rider designs ever.

Sasword was a pretty great character when it came to not making the show incredibly boring, so that's something.

The problem is that, in order to be a "Useless" character, he has to have had no significant actions or purpose.
Overstaying his welcome isn't the same as being a waste of space.

Yeah...I would say Otoya is a lot of the comic relief...though Nago (IXA) does have his moments.

It's the same when the story turned into a mess around the same time. The time wasted on Tsurugi and the Hoppers could've been used to focus the story.

I have to say that I loved Tsurugi. He was a fun weird badass character up to a point. But he did become the most ridiculous comedic relief character ever in the middle. His final episode was touching and great and really helped redeem him in my eyes. But his complete goofball nonsense before that hurts, Except for the silly episode where he tries to join up with the Hoppers. That was magnificent :lol

Yeah, he was hands-down my favorite part of the show. His whole comedic relief shtick was right up my alley in terms of what I find funny too, so he was sort of a godsend among all of the unlikable characters like Yaguruma and Tendou.

I love you.

KR Kabuto 16 is down, and I'm starting to think there was something mentally wrong with Tendou's grandma. To the point I'm expecting him to say, at any moment, "Grandmother said this: Keep your Dirty Kids off my Lawn".

I watched Kamen Rider 555 episode 1 earlier in the morning, and I really loved the story to that one too. I think I'm going to be watching like 7-10 Kamen Rider series concurrently by the time I finish the first episodes lol.

Finally got back to watching kabuto after matrixbeast and I made a deal months ago :lol

So ep. 5........ Meh. It's not like it was BAD. It was just so boring! The only actor who is good is kagami and he is the f*ck up for the series. Hiyori is whiny and still creeps me out. This is why I pick decade over kabuto. If it's not HUGE plot holes, it's just boring. At least something happens in decade, sure it's not very much but it's better than them talking about a flower convention!

How come it takes everyone else so long to uphold their end of our bargains? :lol

After a certain point it just becomes unimportant, being delegated to Kabuto's Hyper Zector.

TheBee, Sasword, and Drake are just power ups for Tendou's dumb sword by the end with no users. The Bee is used a total of once after the Hoppers (Ugh!) appear. Told ya this show wastes perfectly good Riders.

Drake is no huge loss. But I like TheBee's design, and it's sad it just turns into a Kabuto Power Up Mushroom.

I do recall that Kageyama uses TheBee one final time before it's never used again. After he's been Punchopper for a while. He wants to be a hero again and "walk in the light" so he tries to be TheBee again. While simultaneously Yaguruma AKA Kickhopper tries to be a hero too by teaming up with Kabuto and Gattack for what looked like the final battle. Epic triple rider kick. One of the best moments in the series.

I watched the Fourze movie the other day. What is it called? Something like, It's Space Time! ?

Anyway, really fun movie. Fantastic, enjoyable film. I tweeted a bunch of thoughts out while I was watching it, mainly though, what comes to mind now is, hot Asian Black Widow.

What else? The gotta-switch-em-all sequence was very nice. It was cool to see all the past characters returning (one of my favorite moments from the A-to-Z film was when past characters from the show appeared to cheer W on). I think it started to drag on just a little bit that they showed the crew actually finding every single person until they had enough to throw all 40 switches, likewise that they showed the throwing of every single freaking switch. it was really touching, but also went on just a little too long.

The plot twist was appreciated, overall the movie was just really good. Both Fourze's movies have been really solid and highly enjoyable. Oh, the Wizard part wasn't that great, because it makes him seem way overpowered if he can defeat four Horoscopes all by himself, even if they're only shadows of the Horoscopes, it still seems like a bit much.

Meteor Fusion states isn't a great design, but I liked seeing it in the show, and it, along with Groundain and Skydain, have magically appeared on my Figuarts want list. I think Black Knight should have also gotten a Figuarts release.

Yeah, Mikie Hara is pretty awesome. At some point I really do need to watch more of Cutie Honey the Live. She plays a very different character there, but she still kicks a lot of ass.

I watched Kamen Rider OOO Episode 2, I love Eiji and I'm really loving this series. Can't wait to see more.

Watched Kabuto and Kiva episode 2's and both were really great. I love the characters in both series and the style of suits.

Souji and Wataru are so freakin' cool.

I love both storylines in Kiva too.

i watched nothing new last night. I'm being really tempted to not wait to finish Decade and Fourze, and watch the first story arc in Blade and Faiz, then finish D & F. but I haven't decided if that's a good idea or not yet.

Decided to watch Ryuki since I really want to get the Figuart, so I figured I'd at least see what his history is all about.

I can tell right away this is the followup to Agito, since it's got the same "OoOoOo mysterious and weEeEeird" style of camera work with wide-angle lens up the advent slots and acting so hammy I swear Michael Moore is about to waddle into the background, as well as the "gruesome death and monster attacks" Agito had a chubby for. However unlike Agito I'm not a fan of the intro at all.

That said, I like basically everything else. The effects are... well, really bad. And bad in the way of "why'd you use these many visual effects if you knew they'd look like shit?" but whatever. Like many series I'm assuming they're not going to be as heavy all the time. I like Ryuki himself and he seems to be the better actor of the bunch. Batguy is a buttknight, especially since it would take two seconds of his oath of silence to say "you're in the mirror world, be fucking careful and let me handle this" instead of the nonsense "stop screwing around." Stop screwing around? He was trying to help, not his fault his sword broke. Maybe he's just mad because Ryuki is in the same exact colours as him and now one of them has to go home and change? Also his suit is cool, but the compound eyes under the visor is gonna take a bit of getting used to.

I guess Ryuki doesn't get his contract with dresses-as-a-woman-and-loves-it-redder until next episode, since they're currently getting their dark dusty blue bottoms broiled. Guess I might as well do 2 just to see what happens, but this was a good first ep for me. Reminds me of W how the firs ep starts with the story in gear, though Ryuki doesn't get his powers until the end and the investigation and intrigue is at the beginning.

Kabuto episode 6. Meh.......... Overall bad. Hiyori is so annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!! Life is not all about you!!! Get over yourself!!!!! That was about 90% of the episode. Plus I will repeat (though I may be wrong because I do not know physics all that well) being faster does not mean you can jump half a mile in the air! Oh and tendon vandalized Tokyo tower, just saying
