She's a joke character that exploded in popularity, and unlike Deadpool, she actually began as a joke character.
The joke began as "Squirrels tho" and has now become "She can do whatever she wants whenever she wants because squirrels tho" to some readers, apparently.

Pretty much all of Image's early heroes were edgy derivatives of Marvel *and DC's* heroes*with Youngblood,Cyberforce,Supreme and Glory being the most obvious* even Spawn was heavily derived from Venom so yeah surprised especially since in the 50s DC shut down Captain Marvel for similarities to Superman.

Anyways, as far as characters go I mostly want classic Venom back for the Marvel side (which should be no problem since Eddie Brock is Venom again in the most recent comics) and Ami for Capcom.

For Marvel I want Black Widow or Elektra since I'm pretty sure Psylocke is off the table as an X-Man and Talbain,Tessa and Sakura for the Capcom side

I am loving these suits. The colors are also a great throwback like I said before of their old costumes.

So we finally caught up on the 4 episodes that have aired so far. At first, I was really impressed. The first two episodes were really well done and it really highlights how schizophrenic the damn writing is on this show. THey had a good set up, some interesting concepts and ideas, and it piqued my interest. The next two episodes, were not bad, but I'm already bored of this plot. I'm ready for them to get out of the Matrix and do something else already. Once again showing how nobody really seems to know what they want to do to this show.

I'm just hoping that A: I don't need to see all of Iron Fist to enjoy this and B: Sigourney Weaver's character is as enjoyable as Kilgrave and Fisk

I'm kind of getting over the hallway fights. Some of them are really well done and some of them it seems like they're just going through the motions. I'd rather they just skip them if they can't do them right. I know it's in the DNA of the Marvel Netflix shows but it does get kind of stale.

Still, with more hours spent with these characters than the Avengers before the first film I'd say I'm more invested in seeing how this pans out. Of course, I miss Doctor Strange and Valkyrie, among others, but I'm super jazzed for this.

Yeaaah I heard about that, main reason I haven't watched it yet. Well that and having all of zero connection to the character. I guess I'll just wait to see if that show's plot actually ties into the Defenders at all before I try to slog through it.

The show is pretty divisive, but I would say watch it and make up your own mind. There's no sense in letting others make your decisions for you. We can't say for sure what you might like or dislike about something.

Honestly, Iron Fist isn't THAT bad.

Runaways teaser leaked, so couple that with the Defenders trailer and this is a pretty hype day for Matrvel TV.

On Runaways, I liked what they showed a lot. Hit the right cues for their start (Old Lace!) and the power teases got me excited.

Defenders was alright. It is what we've been waiting for, so I'm glad to see it finally happening. But it's really Matt and Jessica I'm looking forward to seeing more of.

Meh, wake me up when the Blu-Ray is released.

Agreed. The only thing that makes Jessica Jones better than it is Purple Man.
