Let me reiterate: Freddy Mercury, and by extension the band he fronted for, Queen, is one of the best-known acts in the entire world, even 20 years after his death. Just because YOU have not heard of him does not mean he is not a cultural icon in several countries and subcultures.

And again, you completely misunderstand how this works. This in no way affects how Bandai releases items from Kamen Rider and Sentai. They already plan those slots months in advance and pace them in such a way as to minimize shelves being clogged. Granted this does not always work, but then again, supply does not always equal demand and vice versa. And this is why Sentai releases are so few and far between right now: They just do not sell as well as a lot of people hope they would. Marvel is a hot property right now, and so it stands to reason, with Hasbro dominating sales over here and not giving two craps about elsewhere, Bandai is going to jump on it with their own line of high-quality collectible figures.

Look I already told you what I think ok if you like him find but I don't and his music is not that good. Maybe he well known in London but in the US he not got it.

If you actually were to find comments from music critics throughout the years you would see is one of the most highly regarded singers to have been within rock and music as a whole. What went on with his personal life is of no concern here. If Bandai carries on with this legends line, that it is a line to celebrate the achievements and greatness achieved by a musician or any other person they would make.

The thing is though, Freddie Mercury IS a well known singer in both the rock and general music world. From his work with Queen, to Live AID, to getting known from a later generation with the soundtrack to A Knight's Tale. Just because you don't know of him doesn't mean that others don't and that they celebrate his work. This is the same pigheadedness that we saw when you claimed the Driv Figuarts releases were bad because "I don't like the show designs.

As a side note, while ACDC is one of the most known bands, the general public probably wouldn't know of both singers or be able to name one in full? Sure rock fans will, but if you we're to go out on the street in America or Japan and ask a random person to name a singer of ACDC, do you actually think they would be able to do so? Or do you simply believe "I know them and that is all that matters, forget everybody else?"

Again, it doesn't. Figuarts is one large line. To claim that doing musicians takes away from another is like saying that Kamen Rider takes away from more anime ones. You're argument here is practically a double edged sword in that your logic to you is solid, but it can also be swung back around at you.

So in the end it only matters if you know that band or singer and like them. It doesn't matter what anybody else thinks. If you're not pleased then it's a pointless release and immediately terrible. If you have no interest in buying it then don't buy it. But the way you present your opinions makes you out to be this holier than though type of guy. And in the end we're just guys with opinions, none of us have a one that is a definite 100% fact that goes for the rest of the world.

High-quality collectible figures yeah Iron man sure is but capitan America, hulk, thorn they were really cheap looking as figuarts and even den-o did not care fro them.

So? You make it sound like his word and opinion is the law, just like you present your opinions to be. Besides, how can you judge a toy's quality if you have never handled it? Reviews can give you a brief idea, but until you can mess around with one you never fully know if it is good or not.

True, for example, RID Side Burn. "He's got a complicated transformation that even most adult collectors get stuck on!" When I first transformed it myself, I found it actually relatively decent, so much so I want a Mach Kick to see if that's really as bad as they say.

Or Torca, I never experienced Gold Plastic Syndrome before but with him, I can have a frame of reference to how that feels and looks like (in case the new G2 Slingshot does go bad).

Den-O is the one who make gallery for figuarts and I trust his opinion best why he picky with figuarts like me and when I read a review done by him I get a really good idea of what the figuart is like.

BTW how can I judge a toy's quality simple go to this website Shishioh.info the guy there takes pic of the figuarts he reviews up close and I can tell if the figuart is good or cheap. Maybe u never heard of him before?

Again, you can use a gallery to sort of get part of the picture. But can you honestly say that without actually holding a figure, moving it around, and seeing it in hand, you can fully and completely deem it bad or good?

I know who Shishioh is. And what I said above about Den-O goes here too. Nice pictures, yes. But does it offer the full experience and ability to make a decision on exactly how good a figure is? Nope.

Yes, Den-O does make the galleries most of the time. But his opinion is just that: his opinion. And much as I respect him and consider him a friend, I don't always agree with him. And while reviews are a good way to get a general idea of what something is like, ultimately, you will never really know how you feel about something until you experience it yourself. A lot of people talk crap about Sonic games, and often it is well deserved, but ultimately I wind up enjoying them more often than not.


That's nice. But again, some things need to be experienced firsthand. The Drive figuarts certainly LOOKED nice, but I didn't realize how much of a joy they were to handle until I got them in-hand. Pictures honestly do not do their colors justice- I am not a fan of red by any means, but Drive has such a lovely, candy red coloration and had such a fun gimmick with the Tire Koukan system that I was a bit pained when I wound up parting with him.

Incidentally, the old Super Legends Power Rangers toys seem fairly dated and not up to par with current standards set by Figuarts, but my White Ranger looks very nice with the Figuarts MMPR lineup and is still a neat toy to take down and play with.

You really need to own something or rather have it in hand to get a sense of it's worth. Ultimately reviewers like me can only tell you so much about the experience and recommend what you should do. I can give you my best impressions of something to nudge you one direction or the other, but for me personally I've always felt ownership/handling of something in person is the best way to determine your personal worth of an item.

As others have said, a picture or review can't explain the quality in full, only personal experience can. Many people as I've said call the Korean Gaoranger toys extremely cheap. But considering the following:

They are good, relatively speaking related to their lower price. But make no mistake the plastics are of lower quality. It may not be immediately noticeable or something that some people even take into consideration. But there is a difference in what Bandai Japan puts out versus Bandai Asia. Most of the time that relates to electronic sounds and quality in roleplay toys but I digress. I should steer this conversation back on topic.

I'd love it if any Prince came with a basketball and were noticeably shorter than most other Figuarts.

Hey, the Dino Charge Zords are way cheaper than the Kyoryuger Zyudenryu but they aren't the worst things ever with plastic quality.

So I was looking at the Mario Figuarts at one of my B&Ns because they have everything that is currently out and if it wasn't for the fact I don't have the room or money, they would be awesome to collect. There are so many ways I could lay my shelves out like a Mario level that it would be awesome.
