MAN, little Imaginext Lord Zedd is awesome! I will buy this guy in any scale. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...t/bad%2008.png Zedd came with a little Goldar, in case the big one is good much for ya (or if they're both awesome and you want 'em both). http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...t/end%2002.png Also got the White Ranger with the White Tiger Zord. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...white%2011.png Good stuff, though I gotta say that the missile launcher slapped on top of the White Tiger Zord kinda breaks up the look. Nothin' I can't overlook, honestly. If you're interested, I did a review of it all at the 'ol blog. |

Okay, this makes no sense to me. TRU has something called a Legendary Zord pack of MMPR rangers and zords. It has the Triceratops, T-Rex, Mastadon, and Sabertooth Tiger, but the ranger figures it comes with are blue, red, black, AND GREEN?! WTF? Someone at Bandai wasn't paying attention.

Okay so I got my Legacy Thunder Megazord today. This was my second legacy zord that I got the first was the tigerzord.
The Good All the paint is nice and crisp when all zords are together. Only the lion has die cast in the feet which makes it the heavy piece. The phoenix is the light one out of the five of them. The red dragon warrior mode looks like a nice stand alone piece. The Bad The red dragon keeps falling down when laying it out. It feel very loose and it hard to get it to stay in one pose. When putting it together in thunder megazord mode the top is very heavy and it leans forward. Which means it won't stand up straight at all. Putting the arms on the red warrior makes it top heavy like I said the lion has a lot of die cast in it. The legs feel loose when in thunder megazord mode and when you try to take it apart it gets stuck inside. This cause me to worry that it might break. After being very disappoint with the megazord and dragonzord. I had faith in Bandai that they would improve in the legacy toy line for the zords. The tigerzord is alright no real issues with him at all. The other four zords are all right on their own. The issue is the red dragon in warrior mode the legs are way to loose which cause problems. The leaning which can cause an arm to fall off and it could fall down if left that way for a while mine did not but I felt it could. I don't think I be buying anymore legacy zords Bandai drop the ball in some way with each one. I also feel why put any die cast if it going to cause problems. Finally the cost that I paid for this it just not worth $200.00. The most it should cost is $130.00 and that my honest opinion. |
Well I've ordered the Thunder Megazord from an Amazon seller for $220. I figured since now Amazon is charging sales tax it will be the same price from them directly that I am buying from their sellers. The same goes for if I buy it at TRU.

I got the Legacy Thunder Megazord today and here are my initial impressions:
+ Show Accurate! + Paint and sculpt over stickers!!! + The dragon mode of Ryuuseio/Red Dragon is amazing!! + Articulated head and the sword rocks! - Unless you are a die hard Dairanger fan like me who must own it now, don't pay $200 for this. He is NOT worth it at that price. $150 yes, but $200 no. - Ryuuseio/Red Dragon has no knee articulation anymore. - The completed Megazord form leans over when you move his arms outward due to the die cast on the lion arms. - The piece that flips over on the dragon form's body does not lock into anything, so if the joint ever gets loose, it will just be hanging down. I've got a ton of comparison shots here: http://s1366.photobucket.com/user/Dr...der%20Megazord And a few highlights: http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2acqmvkx.jpg http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...pscl1xwj7u.jpg http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...psqcjjuudy.jpg http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...pshicooovd.jpg EDIT: I added pics of the Mega Tigerzord to the link I previously posted, but here is an image: http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...psbayskmsz.jpg They still couldn't get the phoenix to attach to the Tiger properly, which is so annoying. I'm also not a fan of how far the lion sticks out. Other than that, he is pretty sturdy compared to the regular TMZ mode. http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2sutoox7.jpg |
Anyway, I had some fun with my new camera:
http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...psqoxrl0et.jpg http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...pspsjlxhjs.jpg http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...pssxezmxbv.jpg http://i1366.photobucket.com/albums/...pscejobmiy.jpg Oh yeah, and someone on TFW said that the leaning over was due to Ryuuseioh's legs. I took them apart and used nail polish to tighten them, and it has fixed the majority of the leaning issue. He still leans over a bit when I have his arms forward, but at least it is much better than it was before. |
You guys make me want this more, despite the established issues. Thunder Megazord was my favorite Zord design, and already have White Tigerzord, so guess TMZ is a lock. Might get the B&G Dragonzord, just cause. But still need original Dragonzord. Slept on him like Megazord before him.

Bought a couple of New Clear Collection Cases off of AmiAmi. Threw my Gokaigers in there, and they look fantastic. I'd recommend them, but they were pretty expensive to ship to the US. |
Ah, that feels better. Didn't feel right to just have Cyan-Silver out

I'm trying something different here because I can't take pictures of bigger things in my shitty lightbox. Unfortunately because of the glossy stickers it was hard to get an angle on this without any reflection:

Love that Female Kyoryu Red!
I've been wanting to get back into making custom figures again, it's just such a pain with the PR figures since they changed the neck joints with the SM Figures. |
|
Not exactly cool, but hilarious :lol. These are all the weapons I have for my Kyoryugers and the Denryugers XD

So, considering you have a spare Zandar Thunder and armed on arms, have you ever tried to do the briefly seen Kyroru Gold Armed On version with the gold Zandar Thunder? I'm not even sure his arm comes off or not though.
