Dr. Kain, did you have any issues with Zangetsu when you got him? I just got mine in the mail and his arm wasn't connected to his shoulder.. Aiya! Like I'm looking at the box and his arm isn't connected.

I can't even pose with him. The arms connect but it just falls off. What hell, CSToys International? I order from them and pay for really expensive shipping and they send me a half broken Zangetsu? So not nice.

I twisted his arm around and then added a bit of a glue so he can move.

The result is his arm isn't stable and tends to fall down because loose joints. But overall that's the result.

My Zangetsu arrived today! Also I'm glad to report that so far I have found nothing wrong with him. So far 3 for 3 on gaim figuarts, I hope the trend continues...

It actually took me a second to notice which one wasn't a figuart.

Seriously! If it wasn't for some of the joints and lack of detail on the belt, they'd be indistinguishable.

Yeah, had me for a second.

The AC figures, while some come off a little bulky are just wonderful looking figures, which is why in some regards I favour them over figuarts, like I love Gridon's AC look over his figuart.

And for that I'm grateful because it means I can just focus on the main riders and then be done with figuarts.

And, they really aren't that expensive any more.

The Gaim Figuarts are really something else. They are beautiful!

Yeah, I think that's the route I'm going to take. I'll probably focus on getting main forms and forms that I really, really dig, such as Kiwami or Mango, in Figuarts. Then fill in the rest with Arms Change.

Not sure what I'll do as far as the Energy Riders though. On one hand, I'd like to have Zangetsu Shin and the other 3 as Figuarts, since I really like how Zangetsu Shin looks as a figuart. But at the same time, since they're all likely going to be exclusives, it will be a huge money sink. And I already have a Duke coming on the way. I may have problems with getting any version of Sigurd and Malika though.

I can't figure out where to put them all... So everyone's just hanging out on my coffee table.

Ditto on that. Arms Change's gimmick just makes it so much more fun to get a large collection. Sure the ACs have undeniable downsides when compared to the figuarts, but when I'm fiddling with my ACs I find that I just don't miss any of the things the figuarts are better at.

I just secured a Figuarts Zangetsu on Mandarake, and after I get a Gaim I'm pretty much done for Gaim figuarts. Maybe a Ryugen or Zangetsu-Shin, if I find them for acceptable prices.

I'd make a comment that I too am going to attempt restraint, but upon further consideration, I'm really not. I'm after the core four, Marika, Duke, Kachidoki and Kiwami Gaim, Baron Lemon Energy, and Baron Mango and Gaim Banana.

Ah, the energy Riders are going to be tough for me. I'm always going to have that feeling that if I get one or two in Figuarts/AC form, I'd want the rest within that toyline as well. But like I said, Duke's already on the way so I may go AC route.


And I absolutely love that the AC can be found for a fair price now that the Figuarts are coming out.

This figure is so badass. Only real QC complaint I have is that the Musou Saber holster doesn't stay in as well I'd like it too. Oddly enough, the Musou Saber clip stays on my Gaim's belt fairly well, unlike many others. IIRC, these are the only two who use this holster (at least outta the ones I want to pick up), so I don't think it'll be a big problem for this line down the future.

Eh, it's quite alright. :lol Honestly, I think I just tugged too hard when moving around his torse because his torso stays in place fine unless I try to pull it off.

My SHF G-3 fell off my desk a while back and the two side antennae broke off. I tried gluing them back but its such a small surface area they didn't bond well. I didn't bother trying to pin it since its so small so I just ended up ripping the whole head crest off and filling it in. I painted the head silver since trying to match the blue would be a pain. I guess he's no longer a Rider and now a Metal Hero?
