So I just finished building my first Master Grade Kit, and I have to say that was a really enjoyable experience, the build was fun, and the end results feel a lot more solid then the High grade kits that I've built. So Should I take pictures? (also I now have a desire to obtain all Master Grade kits based of Gundam wing designs).

I'd recommend a pair of nail scissors, but a knife works as long as it's sharp enough.

Sand Rock Gundam, it's a nice design, at least in my opinion, though I have issues getting it to hold its swords, both in hand, and on the shield.
Edit: I also have issues storing its gun on the back on the back of its waist.

Nice. I've never been a fan of the EW Sandrock (I do like the TV design, though), but the kit itself is pretty well-designed from what I've heard. And if the weapon holding problem is because of the fingers popping off of the had, that kind of happens a lot. That particular hand design, used for all the Wing and Seed Remaster MGs, is very prone to looseness. But if that isn't the problem then congratulations, you dodged a pretty big bullet.

So new episode came out and I thought that was a pretty good conclusion to the fight. Nice to see Star Winnings real mode. And yay we got to see China for a minute or so

So that's why Build Burning was made... It actually makes sense now.

Honestly i had assumed Sei wanted to do a challenge run for the Gundam tournament.

But hey at least the Build Burning has a back story as to why it's a hand to hand combat Gundam which is nice.

That was a nice little episode. Really loved how the environment looked after they decimated the castle. But one important question though...who the fuck makes a battle system where you can get hurt controlling your Gunpla and combine with it? I stated when I reviewed BF that the logic of the show is silly but it sucks you in enough to look past it. This though, this is just illogical to me. Oh, and yay for more alien looking Fumina.

Bullshit they is. They're a damn sight better than all those Seed/AGE/00 Gundams that all look practically interchangable. Same generic white/blue thin thing with a bunch of spike shit sticking off it. Turn A came from the mind behind the look of Bladerunner. Turn A is so damned sleak, and the head design is unlike any other Gundam. Even it's rifle is this cool futuristic thing and not just a grey gun like 99% of all Gundam weapons.

Remove the bolded sections and you have my opinion of the show.

I know earlier I said the white wasn't clear, but it actually is: you can see through it under the right lighting conditions.

This thing is beautiful, I just love how it plays trikes on your eyes. The only downside I'm seeing so far is that it feels stiffer compared to the regular release, I'm worried about snapping the joints with too much force or that he'd one day crumble to nothing.

Different does NOT equal good. Good equals good. If I crumpled up a paper bag and spray-painted it orange and called it a gundam, would that make it the best gundam ever just because it is "different"? No, it wouldn't. Giving a gundam a mustache does not make it good. The only design from that entire show worth calling good is the Turn X. Some of the manga-only ones are OK, too.

Exia is probably one of the most unique main mobile suit design out there. Also +5 more points for being an close combat gundam too.

How is the moustache so much more crazy than any given Gundam head design?

Turn A is brilliant. It basically joins the typical crest-with-red-center with the red "beard" (which it also somehow not stupid to you) for a really cool effect, almost like a subtle dragon motif combined with the back crest, while the rest of the suit is just plain sleek. It's iconic, unique, attractive, dynamic, all that good shit, and without relying on tired conventions.

It has circles in it's legs. Whoopdie-doo. It's still the same basic angular proportions as most Gundams.

Firstly, I would not contest that all of the 00/Age suits look the same. The mobile suits designed as them being very close to thier introduction in warfare, so it makes a bit of sense why they loo similar. But for the Turn A, it is thousands of years in between the furthest U.C. suit we see and the correct century.

And also whoa, its getting a little tense in here guys. Let's not get all up in each other's opinion on MS designs and calling each other stupid over it. While I think the SEED designs are some generic bullshit, I'm not gonna bash someone who does like it over the head with my opinion.

I've had this argument before, and I'm really tired of the armies of people who worship that show. If you like what you like, that's fine, just don't act like it's unarguably amazing. My problem isn't the mustache itself. It's the fact that it doesn't belong on the MS at all. A mustache on the Butler Bensouman from G-Gundam works because the entire design is laughably stupid, and the 'stache is just the icing on the crazy cake. But the Turn A is, mustache aside, a very serious-looking design. And the swoopy, cartoony mustache completely destroys that aesthetic. I've seen many good-looking renditions of the Turn A that work because they turn the 'stache into triangular side fins, resulting in a more unified design.

Also, why can't "moustaches" be serious? Again, I see it as evoking an Asian dragon design, which commonly have long moustaches. Or they somehow not serious? It's the bit of flare to spice of the simply smooth design. Every "redesign" of Turn A I've seen has looked like hashed-out generic anime robot dreck, without an ounce of soul, charm or creativity. Taking something great and spoiling it by forcing it to conform.

Yeah, one episode of Try centered around a race had that as the main antagonist.

Something about the way the legs are make it seem like baggy pants. There are other Gunplas that have that same leg style, but for me at least, it seems more off here. Just a case of personal taste.
