Ah I get it, Taicoon cause it's like Tycoon (a businessperson of exceptional wealth, power, and influence), and because Tanuki in folklore are associated with great wealth/fortune.

could merry the sheep be, by any chance, a reference to the song titled "mary had a little lamb"? because lambs are what young sheeps are called

I'm glad there's actually a physical bike (for however much we see it). It looks like Boost needs to be the top half for him to be able to ride it, otherwise it's just for the Finisher. I like the design already.

Judging by the promo and what we know, Taicoon is the secondary Rider (natch), Naago is the tertiary (and probably the female Rider), and Daipan might be the Lazer? I only assume because it seems like they featured those three deliberately as probably the most prominent Riders after Geats. I wonder if Merry is also a female Rider.

I'm curious how many of the Seven Riders on that poster will survive past the first arc.

Merry is a common word associated with sheep/lamb.
Don't know exactly what's the reason but One Piece already did it 25 years ago so it might be something very old.
