Spider-Gwen is also stupid IMO. I can get the idea of her a bit better since "What if...?"-stories with similar premises were always popular but she's overhyped. We had way better Spider-Women who never experienced this kind of popularity.

If you don't have a local comic shop try Amazon (or a book based online retailer). Amazon also carries the English versions, that's where I get them mostly.

Spider Gwen was in a crossover with multiple Spideys thing iirc and the only reason she got her own comics was because people loved her. Though I wouldn't say no to Ultimate Jessica Drew. Loved her

I really dislike the direction Dan Slott's taken Spider-Man,the new Venom book sounds godawful and Ben Reily was brought back*YAY!* but as an edgy villain/anti-hero apparently*yuck* and don't even get me started on how shittily Black Cat's character has been written/ruined.

Heck outside of the X-Men who seem to finally be crawling out of the gutter Marvel's put them in she's the only Marvel thing I care about in general.

I just wish Marvel would stop shitting on Cyclops and trying to force the Inhumans as replacement X-Men.

I just find it hilarious and disappointing that Capcom repeatedly said this wouldn't be an MCU game and outside of Venom and Deadpool it's an MCU game. and no Final Fight characters suck Maki deserves another game damn it!

I'm not particularly impressed by the roster. Some of them are nice, but the lack of my Ammy disappoints me, and the holes to fill in the void are lacking.

Also, the game has more issues than a lacking roster (if it turns out to be true), it still looks like an HD port of a mobile fighter aesthetic-wise.

Some models did look great (X, Carol Danvers, Iron Man, Ultron) and the graphics have improved over time (some leaked footage of Hawkeye VS Thor looked worse than the same thing in a trailer)

It looks like they tried to mix the Ultimate and Spectacular styles but I don't know if it really works.

Yeah there's just something really... odd about the way it's animated that I can't put my finger on. Still, it's replacing ultimate, so I'm down for that at least.

I am willing to give it chance as it seems like there going for the early years of Spidey. and continue Marvel animated current universe as being based on the MCU and Spidey costume looks somewhat like his home made the suit. from home coming.

I don't think Spider-Man never had a good animated show to begin with. I think the 60's, 80's, 90's and early 2000's MTV shows are pretty bad.

I never saw any of the recent Spider-Man shows because they came after my time. I was too old for KidsWB! when Spectacular aired. I see bits of Ultimate Spider-Man and it look meh.

I don't know why we don't get direct to video animated movies of Spider-Man like we do with the other Marvel characters?

I always felt Marvels Direct to DVD movies were all kind of mediocre to bad. I think the only ones I wasn't completely disappointed with were the Ultimate Avengers movies.
