Like any other kid who grew up in the late 80s and early 90s I'm also a brace guy. Quite honestly among all braces, these (Go braces) are the ones i miss the most. "People's lives are Earth's future!" Kyukyu Sentai GoGoFive!~

I miss the esssence of 80's and 90's.

That essence will never return, at least for the time being. Kids are the target audience and ratings have fallen to the wayside in favor of toy sales. Sentai once focused more on the story and development of every character, good and bad (the main gattai for Gingaman doesn't debut until like the seventh or eighth episode and the suits don't show up until late in the first episode), but now there is more pressure on displaying the toys (watch Shinobi 11 of Ninninger, the suits are on screen for most of the episode and the mech fights are getting longer). Collectibles and huge combinations are the new norm to drive a kid's (the target audience) need to emulate what they see on tv. It's the new norm; just how it is.

Who knows in the future.

I'm glad today's Sentai is not like 80's and 90's Sentai. I think it's good the franchise always evolves. Every group of children who grew up with the show should have a certain style of series that is unique to their generation. It's what makes it special.
I found myself to enjoy whatever Sentai, as long as it's well-written and fun, but there's one show in almost every time I didn't like as much. For example, I didn't like Dairanger, but generally enjoyed 90's Sentai. I love 2000's Sentai, but I Boukenger wasn't my cup of tea etc.

Also, I'm fine with both technology- or fantasy-themed Sentai as long as the story can grab me. But I tend to prefer fantasy themes because I just like that genre in general (that's why I started Magiranger and thus Super Sentai in the first place).

As for the changer, I honestly don't care. I'm fine with whatever they come up with- except Starninger's burger maybe, but oh well.
