I think this is one of the main things that hurt MMPR. All they did was fight in suits, out of suits, or prepare to fight. Literally everything they did was somehow related to them being rangers. Zordon and Alpha didn't pick 5 random teens, they picked the 5 most prepared to fight, lol.

They didn't even have attitude. Bulk and Skull fit Zordon's description better :p
(Yes, I know Zordon didn't say "Teenagers with attitude" in the actual show)

But you have a point. The most attitude from the rangers came from Kimberly not wanting to mess up her hair in the helmet. And that was it. Any real show of attitude was either Bulk and Skull being the "bullies" or Tommy being evil.

Well, there's only one of two responses. Still going, or not.
Despite attempts, PR never thrived as a comic, and I have my doubts we'll be seeing a Power Rangers film series. With no show to promote the toys, I also don't think that we'll get toys should the series be off the air.

So, yeah. I don't think there's much wiggle room to the answer. Either it's dead or it's not in 15 years.

Perhaps in the future we coud have a season with a better budget.
