I'm about halfway done with the second case of aa3.

Making my way through Final Fantasy 9 again.
Childhood nostalgia aside…this still remains one of my all time favrioute FF games. Honestly never understood the hype for FF7. |

I respect that it's a landmark but the game itself I never really found all that engaging…I certainly would not call it the best RPG on the console because there are soooooooo many other titles that deserve that. Lunar 2: eternal blue and Xenogears just to name a few. |

FF7's hype came from a lot of factors including graphics, story telling, and solid game play all coming together with a hint of animu that, for American audiences at the time, was rare.
FF7 was a game ultimately about the story first, which was in an era where the only games that had deep stories were either relegated to PC or you had to read a book first. |
