Also- So I finished the 00 rewatch, and Ive figured something out. Shit got weird for the movie. I mean, Im a fan of the suits, the characters, and the series overall. But the final story is Setsuna becomes half ELS, end reunites with Marina after what, 60-80 years?

Also, What happened to everyone else? I mean nothing on the rest of Celestial Being or the ESF, or even Saji and Louise after the battle. Sure we get the 'Sumeragi' voyage, meaning the world has come to terms with CB and I guess its public later on. I would just love to see that story.

Yeah the movie has always been so disappointing to me. For a show that was really pretty great for 2 seasons, that movie comes out of nowhere and kind of ruins the otherwise solid ending of the series for me. It seems to be more popular with most fans than I ever knew, but I absolutely detest the 00 movie.

I adore the 00 movie. It could have had a better epilogue and Descartes could have done more but I still find it to be a pretty amazing creative Gundam story and the best Gundam ending I have ever seen.

00 Quanta was a disappointment for me.

Huh, I'm surprised they used a Abulhool in that last BF episode, that's digging pretty far into the gundam lore.

Is the BF art book worth having if you can't read Japanese?

I have it and it's fine, though there really isn't as much line art or design work in it as I'd hoped for. But I only paid like $25 for it so it was worth it to me.

Woot, gonna be getting my first EW kit soon-ish, I'm planning to get the Real Grade Wing Zero EW, just gotta decide between the Sandrock EW, Heavyarms EW & Shenlong EW MG kits. Before anyone asks, one of my friends is gonna be buying it, I'm paying him so he can actually purchase it, I'm only minus 15 bucks on him being able to order it, thankfully I'm gonna have 15 dollars next week when I got to the card shop again, I'm giving him my Pokemon card deck that I created a few months ago to pay for the RG Wing Zero.

I'd avoid the Shenlong, the dragon fang on that kit is super flimsy. Sandrock and Heavyarms are both solid kits, but Heavyarms is my personal favorite of the two (in case my sig wasn't a big enough hint). It just needs a few dabs of paint on the missiles to make it amazing.

Proto Zero's pretty nice.

But also a bit more expensive than the others. I think he's looking for a "shoe box" MG as opposed to the bigger ones.

Proto Zero is my favourite Gundam design period. I can't not recommend it when given the option.

Of the ones you mentioned, I'd go Heavyarms. He was the one I wanted first, but was actually my third. It's a great kit, and I can't wait for it to be redone in the blue and green. I'd also consider Tallgeese.

Only Wing kit I like is Heavyarms, so Im biased. But! As long as you paint all the missiles and gatling weapons silver, you dont need to do anything else to it. It looks great, and, theyre all on the same runner, so no splitting everything around to paint a few items.

I panellined mine a bit, but even without it, it looks great. Makes me wann watch wing until I remember how bored I get.... :lol

There's a lot of pieces around the missiles that shouldn't be silver, though, so you will have to cut some parts aside. But it's not like every missile is a seperate part.

Yeah, it sucks that Wing, uh, sucks because the designs are sweet. I heard the Manga is marginally better but it's a black and white Manga so it's not very visuallly exciting.

The only one I don't heartily recommend is Shenlong. It was my first kit, and I'm glad it was, because while it's a super fun build and very intricate, it is damn-near bare-bones. It's so basic design-wise that if I hadn't gotten it first and been enamored by the building experience, I would have dreaded building it after Zero or Tallgeese or Heavyarms which are far more exciting.

Oh yeah, well its been a couple years since I built it.

Hopefully the mail will arrive early tomorrow, so I can start building one of the three before work.

Yup, I will be buying basically any The Origin and Revive OYW HGs that come out. Hopefully means we'll get a nice new G3 and RX-78-1 from this new Gundam.

It's based on the ZZ mould so chances are it can combine but with a lot of parts swapping.

It has most of a lion slapped on it's back with what appear to be articulated legs, so it's a pretty safe bet that it'll transform.

EDIT: AND there's a MG Banshee Norn Green Psychoframe version coming, too! It's a P-Bandai exclusive, but still...

AND there's gonna be a MG Red Zeta, also P-BanDai!

Anyway, I started on the Astray Kai. Got the head and blowtorch done, then moved on to the torso. And that's were I'm unsure about this. Are ABS parts supposed to go together extremely tight? Because all the parts from the ABS sprue are going together so tight that I feel I might break them. And I doing something wrong? Is it possibly from the cold weather shrinking the parts? Is it just a QC screwup?

Is it not already supposed to be based off it?

The leg design always made me think it was EW not the "proto" zero.

It's defintely based on the Wing Zero TV ver, the Endless Waltz ver has the angel wings and can't transform.
Plus, there's no modern EW Zero HG mold.

But there's also no modern R-JaJa mold, and yet that's what the R-GyaGya's based off of. Although it is possible that the Honoo is a fusion of the TV and EW designs, I do see elements of both in there.

UPDATE - I figured out the problem with the Astray's shoulder: there's a bit of flashing in the center of the hole. I shaved it down and it worked fine, but it's a problem for a lot of the parts. Still, I got the torso done.

I get that the wings and transformation harken to TV ver, but the actual design elements present reflect the EW version. Comparing the HGAC to it just shows how it's not actually TV-based.

I have that one.
It come with a lot of old style japanese weapon 2 spears katana and rifle, and it own base with name print on it all ,very good detail and ready painted but it movement is very limit ,joint can not move much and very fit. I think gundam Fix is good for display it in showcase not playing action around.

I ordered 3 more Try Burning Gundam becuase of that scene.
