More news on the ever loving "game changing event" that is Marvel Legacy, they will be releasing lenticular cover variants similar to what DC did with Batman and Flash #21-22 for the Button crossover, only this time, the lenticular will show what the cover is a homage to. The variant cover gimmick continues. Knowing Marvel, they're gonna jack up the prices for these covers. *sigh* at it again Marvel... what do you think?
Me, I live in Australia, so pricing for Marvel variant covers is too much cos of the limited stock plus conversion and GST rates. For e.g. The comic shop I go to had enough trouble just trying to get the lenticulars for the recent Batman/Flash crossover. They had to purchase from a US-based store since DC didnt license the lenticular covers to be shipped overseas, so it was more expensive to purchase from the US-based store so they had to sell them for $8 to $11 AUD ($6.12 to $8.42 USD) because of that store's pricing. Plus, for as long as I have shopped there, I have never seen a Marvel variant cover with the same price as the normal cover (and from what I've see from people online in the US, his may be the same). So I'm highly likely to give this a miss... |
So this week new X-Men Blue came out. Jimmy/2nd Ultimate Wolverine finally got his costumeand I think it goes along with the current blue team look overall.

Forgot to say I went to see Homecoming for a second time earlier in the week and enjoyed it a lot more this time around. Was much easier to let go of my gripes and enjoy it for what it is, a very good film.
One thing that does concern me though - I'm not clued up on the Miles Morales run, but I do know that this movie took a lot from that (Ned is basically Ganke, Peter's momentary fear of heights etc). Makes me wonder a bit how the Miles film is going to be received when to the average movie goer it's going to look like it's just aping Homecoming. |
I've never read anything from Miles' run, so I have no idea what was taking from this comics, but I'm sure he will be fine.
At least as fine a a Sony brand movie can be. Meaning holy fucking hell am I worried. |

Honestly I don't think he needs to be one since I love him already as Chair Guy. Ned is just one of my favorites from the film and Jacob delivered. On a side note, I LOVE THIS NEW LOOK ON JIMMY http://i.imgur.com/6KJfGnE.png |

Spiderman,Haggar,Frank West and Nemesis have been confirmed for MVCI:
http://shoryuken.com/2017/07/20/spid...pcom-infinite/ TBH kinda underwhelming for an SDCC reveal was hoping for atleast one new character. |
Of all my MVC3 mains to return.
It was fucking Nemesis. Ammy? Ghost Rider? Dormammu? Gone. Nemesis? Here to stay. Christ. I mean, I'm happy, but still kind of peeved. The other three are of no surprise to me (Well, Haggar kinda. I guess to not have too much Street Fighter presence, just reskin Zangief as a Final Fight character :lol) |
I want Ghost Rider back.

Fox confirmed that a solo Doctor Doom movie is in the works:
http://variety.com/2017/film/news/do...om-1202502084/ Because the Fantastic Four reboot turned out so well for them. |

Sadly, Inhumans still looks fairly awful. It just seems so ... 90s.
|
Inhumans more like Inhumass!
I'll show myself out |
Ghost Rider could still show up later, he did well for Marvel in AoS.

But yeah, give Johnny Blaze a netflix series and don't hire Buck |

The interesting thing they could do though is have like two seasons of Johnny Blaze and have him get rid of Zarathos, who then goes to Danny Ketch in the third season and Johnny shows up to team up with him.

I remember Fox got the rights to F4 because X-Men did so well back in 2000. Fox got the rights to X-Men in the early 90's because the animated show on Fox Kids was a big hit and got the movie rights shorty after the cartoon came out. If the 90's X-Men cartoon never got made, we would not be in this whole mess with Fox right now. |

Fox needs to reboot the X-Men series from scratch and actually have them wear their costumes. |

So during the screening of the Inhumans trailer, the audience apparently laughed at the thing according to several tweets. That must be extremely embarrassing for Marvel.

First Class is my favorite, but even that doesn't suffer from issues. I mean, Magneto's whole quest against humanity is for the death of his mother. The problem is, his mother was killed by a mutant, rendering his hatred for humans moot.

Wolverine and Logan First Class and Days of Future Past 6/9 movies were good 2/3 of the movies Aren't you supposed to be a teacher? |

Finn Jones says that Defenders is the continuation Iron Fist's origin story and hints at the possibility of a costume. |

X-Men 2 - Pretty good X-Men 3 - Dogshit Origins - Double Dogshit First Class - Amazing The Wolverine - Not bad DoFP - Quite good Deadpool - Amazing Apocalypse - Dogshit Logan - Quite good Only five of them are good, which is half of 10. However, I was thinking there were 12 movies for some reason. |
X1 - Has aged poorly. I use to like it, but I think it is a very mediocre movie.
X2 - Better than the first and that's not saying much X3 - Dog Shit Origins - Dog Shit First Class - Not Bad The Wolverine - Almost, but no quite Days of Future Past - Not bad Deadpool - Good Apocalypse - Meh Logan - Fantastic. Just a great movie on it's own and too good for the superhero genre in my opinion. I feel like the X-Men movies overall are not very good expect for a few. I feel like most superhero movies in general are not very good. People act like the 2000's was when comic book superhero movies are becoming good when most of them are not much better than the shit we got in the 80's and 90's expect for a few in my opinion. |

Yeah, Marvel's heading towards the skids again and this time I don't think they can catch themselves in time. |
