More news on the ever loving "game changing event" that is Marvel Legacy, they will be releasing lenticular cover variants similar to what DC did with Batman and Flash #21-22 for the Button crossover, only this time, the lenticular will show what the cover is a homage to. The variant cover gimmick continues. Knowing Marvel, they're gonna jack up the prices for these covers. *sigh* at it again Marvel... what do you think?

Me, I live in Australia, so pricing for Marvel variant covers is too much cos of the limited stock plus conversion and GST rates. For e.g. The comic shop I go to had enough trouble just trying to get the lenticulars for the recent Batman/Flash crossover. They had to purchase from a US-based store since DC didnt license the lenticular covers to be shipped overseas, so it was more expensive to purchase from the US-based store so they had to sell them for $8 to $11 AUD ($6.12 to $8.42 USD) because of that store's pricing. Plus, for as long as I have shopped there, I have never seen a Marvel variant cover with the same price as the normal cover (and from what I've see from people online in the US, his may be the same). So I'm highly likely to give this a miss...

So this week new X-Men Blue came out. Jimmy/2nd Ultimate Wolverine finally got his costumeand I think it goes along with the current blue team look overall.

Forgot to say I went to see Homecoming for a second time earlier in the week and enjoyed it a lot more this time around. Was much easier to let go of my gripes and enjoy it for what it is, a very good film.

One thing that does concern me though - I'm not clued up on the Miles Morales run, but I do know that this movie took a lot from that (Ned is basically Ganke, Peter's momentary fear of heights etc). Makes me wonder a bit how the Miles film is going to be received when to the average movie goer it's going to look like it's just aping Homecoming.

I've never read anything from Miles' run, so I have no idea what was taking from this comics, but I'm sure he will be fine.

At least as fine a a Sony brand movie can be. Meaning holy fucking hell am I worried.

Mostly the whole Peter and Ned dynamic which I am not mad at.

What I find funny is how people still think Ned is Hobgoblin.

More like they expect him to be in future sequels since Ned Leeds was one of the Hobgoblins that came and went. :)
Honestly I don't think he needs to be one since I love him already as Chair Guy. Ned is just one of my favorites from the film and Jacob delivered.

Except he wasn't. He was never Hobgoblin at all. It was only word of mouth that said he was and Kingsley even said he set that belief up and used Ned's death to enjoy the fortune he amassed in peace.

Actually, the infamous Ryce leak turned out to be outdated, the bigger leak has more characters and leaked that Grandmaster Meio and that Monster Hunter thing would appear in the story, [/spoiler] It included for example, Winter Soldier, Venom, Death, Haggar, Ghost Rider and Dormammu and more. Even if they'll never do a good FF movie Fox isn't giving that license back. As long as people are willing to see the MCU Fox will be there with its MArvel movies and perhaps they'll pull a Deadpool with Dr. Doom

A Johnny Blaze Netflix series will be insanely popular and a huge money maker.

The interesting thing they could do though is have like two seasons of Johnny Blaze and have him get rid of Zarathos, who then goes to Danny Ketch in the third season and Johnny shows up to team up with him.

Fox does not want to let go of their licenses back to Marvel. Fox only has X-Men, Planet of the Apes, Die Hard and Alien/Predator for their movie franchises now since they lost Star Wars a few years ago.

I remember Fox got the rights to F4 because X-Men did so well back in 2000. Fox got the rights to X-Men in the early 90's because the animated show on Fox Kids was a big hit and got the movie rights shorty after the cartoon came out. If the 90's X-Men cartoon never got made, we would not be in this whole mess with Fox right now.

Considering the X-Men movies and Legion have mostly been met with praise, I think it's a worthy sacrifice. No FF or Doom in MCU is a major bummer but I can't picture Wolvie and friends in the MCU, Plus, Marvel wouldn't want to make the Deadpool movies the way they are

So during the screening of the Inhumans trailer, the audience apparently laughed at the thing according to several tweets. That must be extremely embarrassing for Marvel.

First Class is my favorite, but even that doesn't suffer from issues. I mean, Magneto's whole quest against humanity is for the death of his mother. The problem is, his mother was killed by a mutant, rendering his hatred for humans moot.

Only five of them are good, which is half of 10. However, I was thinking there were 12 movies for some reason.

X1 - Has aged poorly. I use to like it, but I think it is a very mediocre movie.

Logan - Fantastic. Just a great movie on it's own and too good for the superhero genre in my opinion.

I feel like the X-Men movies overall are not very good expect for a few. I feel like most superhero movies in general are not very good. People act like the 2000's was when comic book superhero movies are becoming good when most of them are not much better than the shit we got in the 80's and 90's expect for a few in my opinion.
