I've cleaned my ears with q-tips for 24 years. No particular reason for it - just the fact that it feels good and satisfying. It is scientifically proven that your ears basically self-regulate, so there is no valid reason to ever do this. The packaging for q-tips even says not to, but I thought I could trust myself to stay safe.

Last week I accidentally pushed a q-tip a bit too far into my eardrum, and now I have an impacted ear - in other words, there is earwax stuck very deep in my ear. I've spent an entire day trying to rinse it out with hydrogen peroxide, to no avail.

The best part? I've been deaf in one ear since then. Hopefully my doctor will be able to get this sorted.

I've had a slightly similar situation in the past, and it's easily sorted. A nurse is going to flush your ear canal, and whatever's lodged is going to pop out. It's going to feel like your entire head is flooded from the inside for a few seconds, but it's a super-simple process. Cheap and quick. You will probably be subject to a chiding comment from the nurse about proper ear care, but that's as uncomfortable as it's going to get.

Yeah, I looked into it the other day and I'm glad it can be handled easily by someone experienced. I'm just a tad annoyed I wasn't able to sort it out myself at home. Maybe if I tried the hydrogen peroxide method ASAP instead of waiting until a week after.

oh I did the same to myself last year. At first I thought I screwed up my hearing by having the volume too high on my earbuds, but it was me being overzealous with q-tips. The procedure itself is ... not pleasant haha

Well, I finished Girl Gun Lady, which makes it the first toku series I've started and finished since... Build.

It was an interesting ride to say the least.

Thanks guys, it was a pretty chill day, but fun nonetheless.

Shoot! I didn't think of that. I could still pull it off, if anything to see how my family reacts, but unfortunately wouldn't be able to show you folks (partly because I'm not interested in showing my face), especially because I don't have a working camera. If I do this, I'll let you know how they reacted.

I pretty much chose this (Decade Complete 21) because I turned 21 today (so you can probably guess what last year's form was), also because I have so many ideas and projects, I'd probably slap them on to something like this, so it fits.

What series is this from?

I'm glad that we are finally getting a new 2D Metroid game after so many years. I know many people love the Prime series, but I always prefer Metroid in 2D.

And it's also Metroid 5! And from the little bits we saw in the Treehouse, it looks like we're finally moving forward in the timeline after Fusion released almost 20 years ago.

Metroid Prime is where I entered this franchise and ultimately my favourite, but you really can't go wrong with 2D Metroid and Dread looks AMAZING!! Easily the highlight of E3 for me; did not expect it and I'm so excited!

It's from an upcoming Gundam Breaker Battlogue anime that just got announced.

Shin Megami Tensei V is my favorite game of E3. I have waited forever for a new mainline SMT game and it looks fantastic. I already love the design for the main character.
