I don't recall saying anything like this ,just that the 2ndary riders final form should be evolution themed.

For the feathers, lets only include them on Thero and Aero forms. Aqua and Quad don't really work with feathers.

Well. If we implement some kind of subtle feathered V fin into the base helmet design, then it could still be there in Quadro form without being obtrusive at all. As I mentioned earlier, technically Aqua shouldn't have feathers at all because, well... Aquatic reptiles aren't scientifically dinosaurs.
