hey guys, the wrist joint on my shinken red is kinda tight, will it break easily or is it just the new on it and loosen up later?

Wish I had the option to do that, but I bought an Amazon gift card and put the amount towards Wizard's pre-order, so I can't just get my money back to buy him elsewhere, plus at this point this is the only way to be sure I'll get the pre-order bonus strike wizard robe.

Getting really irritated though, don't think I am ever going to preorder something from Bluefin again because of this.

And actually, at the rate this is taking, I'm getting VERY concerned that they didn't get their orders from the first run - hence the delay. Which would mean no bonus. :(

I would bitch up a storm if that ended up happening. That was the main reason I kept my preorder passed the first month since the Japanese release, seeing as I likely could have just cancelled it and got one off of one of the other sellers on Amazon at that time and gotten the bonus anyways, and likely for the same price or cheaper.

They'll definitely be hearing from me if I get that screwed over.

No idea, the plastic must have been weak and just torn as I wasn't using any huge amount of pressure to swap the hand. Bluefin did say they'll submit my claim to Bandai but it may take 6-8 weeks for a response. Better than nothing and hopefully I'll get a replacement.

On another note, I'm getting a bit impatient on Amazon going to get Figuarts Wizard in also (I also used a gift card so I can't cancel, though I do want to support Bluefin whenever possible) It usually takes a month for Figuarts to make their way over here and it's been about a month and a half now.

And here I was thinking I'd have the damn thing in my hands before I got Wreck-it Ralph on bluray earlier this month, or at the very least before I get Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon on the 24th, but I highly doubt it'll be in let alone shipped and at my door by the end of the week.

Went through this with the Godzilla and Mechagodzilla bonuses - there has to be a second run for a first-run bonus to disappear. That hasn't happened for Wizard Flame Style yet. In order for all the Bluefin orders or just the Amazon ones to be missing the effects, there would need to be a significant second run going on. So far, there's been no indication of that. General rule of thumb is that if you see a reissue, then you have your second run. Wizard's had no Japanese second run, no reason to expect missing effects until we hear otherwise.

Bluefin's timeline has never been strictly a month. I remember the Double reissue took forever too. They ship over a number of figures at a time, and if the release date on one is later than the rest, it pushes them all.

I hope they actually get back to you. They submitted my claim for my Black Beard having two right hands back in Dec and I have still yet to hear back from them.

Ah, thank you for clearing up that discrepancy. I had always interpreted a "first-run bonus" as being limited to just initial stock of the figure. So truly a limited bonus. It does give me more hope that it'll still be included then.

And I know Bluefin released take longer, but no word on it at all has me becoming increasingly impatient..

Wizard's first run pre order bonus is kinda weak. IMO, it's really something they should've just included with the figure from the get-go.

I don't even like that coat piece. It doesn't look good on the figure at all. The included action-pose coat tails are much more versatile.

Another day goes by and still no word from Amazon on my order.

Nah, I'm good. I'd rather support Bluefin so they can keep getting them in. Plus, getting them through HLJ and the cost of shipping comes out more than what I can get them from Amazon for. Besides, this is the first time I have ever preordered a Figuart on Amazon, so I have no idea how it normally works.

My next preorders are Dragon and Tyranno Rangers.

Found a nice place called Just Figures that I can go to and order any SH Figuarts that Bluefin is distributing at the time and they'll order it and when it comes in hold it for me.Best part,only about 15 minutes from my house and on the east coast.lol

I just read on rangerboard about a tamashii web exclusive Boukenblue & Black 2 pack for Aug. I hope it's true. I know Den-O will be juiced about this!

Makes sense that they'd start hitting up two packs. I'm glad its most likely the Boukengers up next since it gives me a little time to save!

Maybe that's how they'll do Pink and Yellow, just release them together. Which is fine by me. I love collecting the female Sentai. .. That came out creepier than I meant it.

I hope that this will be how they release all tamashii web Sentai members that aren't Red or 6ths. I don't have very much patience. So 2 at a time is always better then having one come out whenever they get a wild hair up their ass.

You know if they released these seperately, I would have probably passed one these two. But something about a two pack makes it more palatable to me. That and this probably means Sakura will come with Natsuki so that means I can't just cherry pick her and Eiji. So why not, full Boukenger team! Attack!

The two pack idea for future sentai releases is a great idea. I'm all for it if it means they can pump out full teams more quickly.

Yes. Gokai Silver is a wonderful toy. Just be prepared for one of two things.

One: You will do as I have and immedeatly start blowing a ton of your disposable income on these things. I got my first two (Gokai Silver and VE Decade) less than a month ago. Now I have twelve, including three expensive exclusives, with six more on the way from various sources. and two more on pre-order.

or Two: you don't have the cash, or have sufficent self control, to indulge in your newfound plastic addiction. You will see all the figuarts pictures, know that they are exactly as awesome as they look, and your toku-loving, toy-wanting soul will know pain.

Or maybe I'm just being melodramatic for funsies. It's a great toy and if you want it you should go for it.

Do it. Gokai Silver is a great figuart to have. Just be careful when you have him posted on a shelf. If he falls, the blades of his spear will pop off. You can put them back on (and actually put it into anchor/gold mode), but just be ready to possibly pick those two pieces up like crazy.

Whoa! BBTS just emailed me about a price drop for the MMPR figuarts. they are both now 42.00 as compared to 45.00ish. Huh.

Yeah I know I didn't :lol I bought Shinken Red and Super Shinken Red last week on HLJ, then I got Gokai Green, want Gokai Silver, but he sold out :(

And I still plan on getting Red and Green MMPR SHF this summer :lol I will have a full det of only Red and Green :lol

Thanks guys for the feedback! ..And hehe, I'm prepared to get sucked into SH Figuarts addiction, I've always wanted Gokai silver to be my first purchase figuarts and I had found him at a decent price on Amazon...Though those prices for Go-buster, Shinken Red, and Bouken Red on HLJ is very tempting :cry

Currently hunting for Shinken Gold, and Gosei Knight prices are outrages for these two.

Edit - is the price on Go-Buster red really 15 dollars on HLJ?!Or is that just me being bad a currency exchange.

If you get any from HLJ I suggest Super Shinken Red, I really like him more than regular, idk why though :lol

The only thing that could bring me back is if I ever decide to get Den-O. But I don't know if I want sword form or Climax form. (I'm not into the show that far yet, I'm assuming it's his final form) Sword form is my favourite of his base forms, and Climax is, again, assumed to be his final form, and has a wicked visor.

Thing is, figuarts just don't seem that hot to me. They're not all particularily accurate often having certain aspects out of scale, all I ever hear is joint issues or quality control issues, and their posability is just okay, and they're way too expensive for what you get with one. Cyclone Joker left me completely and utterly cold.

Figuarts are evil. My entire collection you see in my pictures started with my plans to buy only Kamen Rider Black and Shadow Moon. THAT IS IT! On June 2nd I bought Black, and on June 9th I bought Shadow Moon. That was the plan.
