I guess it depends, going by Japanese stores, the Gokaiger, Shinkenger Exclusives and Kyoryuger are evidently really high demand, while the Boukenger and AkibaRanger are much less so.

Either way, I think the cancellation of Sentai Figuarts will be the worst thing ever to me and may turn my help sway my interest away from Sentai for a while or make me look into just aiming for older DX toys. Absolutely zero interest in the never-ending onslaught of new Riders.

If they sold that well, Bandai would be taking advantage of the situation as much as possible. Just look at Kamen Rider, which DOES sell well and has several releases every month, most of which are regular releases and not exclusives. They tried making Sentai teams regular releases with Gokaiger and they did so badly they were discounted within weeks, they had to still make Yellow and Pink exclusives and that was with the currently airing team and by including loads of accessories and pre-order bonuses. What more can they do?

The Zyurangers have been hugely successful in the US because of MMPR and they seem to have even done reasonably well in Japan (yeah, the Japanese love Zyuranger, contrary to popular belief) but where do they go from there? The nostalgia fanboys only want MMPR and even Jetman didn't seem to particularly excite the Japanese.

Tamashii Nations is next month, so hopefully we see something happen there. Kyoryuger seems to have done pretty well, so I do hope we see the rest of that team, but these events typically don't even bother showing Sentai stuff due to the lack of interest. At best, I'm expecting to see ToQ-1. Everything else will be Rider, Godzilla, Sailor Moon, Precure and apparently, the MK.42 Iron Man (i.e. things that sell).

By Japanese stores do you just mean Mandarake and Jungle?

Because odds are they only go for a lot there because no one bought them when they were actually released, waited for them on the secondary market and then realised everyone wanted them.

I doubt they will cancel the line, at least not entirely. Just give the line a rest to build the hype back up and give S.H. Sentai collectors wallets a break(at least that is my hopeful thinking as other than upcoming Gaim figuarts Sentai are the only ones I actively collect)

But they have been taking advantage of the situation and selling Sentai on a monthly basis for about a whole straight year now.(Using Tamashi nation's page for release dates and NOT counting Akiba)

Now granted this increase in monthly sales for sentai is probably because of the MMPR/Zyuurangers releases and Hurricanger anniversary along with Kyruuryuger's releases but their were still unrelated releases like the Deka girls and Blue/Black Boukenger 2 pack.

I don't know, maybe I was incredibly lucky to start collecting Sentai Figuarts in the middle of a boom but I can't imagine Bandai would keep releasing Sentai figuarts so frequently if it was just a drain on the company like I've seen lots of people claim(Not necessarily on this site)

Beginning of May is when the August releases are set for pre-orders dude, I don't need a source cause I can remember these patterns also if Ryugen got announced for a release month we'd know about it & it'd be on the Tokunation news & rumors forum. So basically there is no announcements for Ryugen yet. For Hibiki, look around, the month of a retail Tamashii Nations release is how you tell when the pre-orders start :lol.

Indeed, but Hibiki isn't having that happen & Zangetsu didn't get added till earlier last month, plus we don't have any news about when Ryugen is being released.

Well it didn't happen for the Kabuto Renewal, plus Kabuto Renewal & Hibiki aren't regular figuarts releases. It might happen for Hibiki but we don't know yet, I mean even if the figure already has a 15 second Youtube advertisement made, we can't know for sure if it's being released mid month, also I think Gaim & Baron were exceptions cause of them being from the newer Kamen Rider show :p.
