I for one would agree with others that they look painfully terrible, nearly all of them. The story's pretty garbage as is so I'd at least hoped for decent mecha designs to engage me, sadly there isn't that with Recongusita.

let's hope Gundam's creator can save it in the latter episodes then.

Well, there's really no wrong or right, it's just a matter of opinion.

Some I like a lot, like the Mac Knife, others I couldn't care less about, it's rather hit or miss.

Watched the first episode of Origin and absolutely loved it. Definitely makes up for my disappointment with the two current Gundam television shows. I just wish it wasn't such a big wait until the second episode now.

The only G-Reco design I don't not like is the Gaeon, the rest range from pretty bad to awful. The Elf Bullock/Mac Knife being my least favorite.

It's kind of odd that gundaminfo would suddenly make G-Reco available after all this time. I wonder what made them change their mind.

They had a past video, about a few days ago, where they showed the HG mobile suits for Reconquista in G, so I think we should have guessed they were releasing the episode soon. :lol

Well they actually aired the original trailer of Reco G along side the BF Try trailer when they were both announce. My only thought to this that Reco G Gundam G-Self is starting to spread out around B&N store from BluFin since they did say that some time in this year that BlueFin and B&N will be doing a new inventory stock. So I guess they want the G-Self to be more noticeable than a random Gunpla on store shelf.

I see. It's neat that B&N's getting some new stuff in. Any news on what the other kits'll be? Build Burning, perhaps?

The very first wave of Try kits will be part of the new inventory stock, and I believe that consist of Team Try Fighters, Fumina Cardigan, and the Rgyagya.

Awesome. They gonna release the backpacks for the Lightning, too? Because it'd be a shame if you could only get the core figure locally.

That I really don't know, but I thnks that's very unlikely considering they didn't put Fenice bike up on store shelves. It's not essential as Lightning backpack per say, but I really don't see them doing it since they haven't done it in the past. Nor have they put up the Universe Booster for MG Build Strike despite MG Build Strike being all over the place.

That's a shame. Still, there's some solid kits in that wave.

I think I Might ened up watching binge watching The Origin after it's finished like with Unicorn...which reminds me that I still need to watch Unicorn:lol

So Crossbone X-1

This is my first HGUC kit so I was going in expecting "Eh", and "WOOHOO!"

This guy did not disappoint he kits all the right spots, if you ask me he is like the Build Burning Gundam of the HGUC line in terms of build and articulation/pose abilities.

He's a fricking Pirate Gundam, we've gotten Ninja Gundams, Samurai Gundams, Knight Gundams, heck even a Grim Reaper. The CrossBone like the many other themed Gundams does the Pirate theme justice and translate it well into it's smaller HG kit.

He packs a lot but to lazy to display him in anything else at the moment. I have him displayed in a typical "Imma blast you with my pirate pistol" pose.

After building this kit I can see why Algo adores and consider the Crossbones Gundams his favorite gundam of all time.

Now I can't wait for the full Cloth version.

Denial....I will get that suit and it will probably be the first time I put tender love and care into building an HG model. I love that suit so much.

Opinions are gonna vary greatly on the actual quality of the show, but with only 5 episodes left (4 after tomorrow) I guess it depends how fast you're gonna get through it. Either way there isn't a long time to wait until the end.

I'm loving the show (bar some of the dialogue) but it really is better if you watch it all in one go

Yup, that's a good way to describe it. The Maoh is even better because it has a skull chest cannon and a bunch more weapons.

Yup. They're doing a Guncannon, and presumably more are in the pipeline.
