The next bit of news regarding Tri is supposed to be announced in May. So much for that "coming in spring 2015" bullshit.

Also, "Tri" is a dumb name. Reminds my of Build Fighters Try. I don't even know what it means, this isn't the third season or anything.

It's the third story for the Adventure universe, hence why it's called Digimon "Adventure tri.", not just Tri.

It's not like this is the first time "Tri" has been used as a word. Tri-state, tri county, triathlon. For once, Japan did not just make up an English-sounding word.

So Tri is going to air on Wednesday night at 10:30 PM? I thought Digimon was market to kids? Won't it make sense to air on Sunday mornings where kids can awake up to watch it.

No, that's the time of the announcement. On the 4th, 5th, and 6th the original series will be marathoned and when that's over the next bit of Tri news will air.

Question is: If this is a continuation of Digimon Adventure, do you think there's a chance that the 02 Digidestined and Digimon (Davis/Veemon, Ken/Wormmon, Yolei/Hawkmon, Cody/Armadillomon) will appear at some point?
