ok episode 13 of season 3 is a shocker and i did not see that comming twilight a princess i did not see that comming at all and hope that stays in for season 4 and the movie

The movie, yes. She clearly has her wings as she enters the gate thing.

For Season 4, we'll see. Something one of the writers tweeted before the S3 finale was that it should be treated as Part 1 of 3, with the other two parts being the Season 4 beginning...

...You actually liked it? Most people thought that episode was horrible and an obvious cash grab. In fact everything except the comics after about the midway point of S3 feels like a cash grab.

I'd agree.
But Wonderbolts Academy happened and convinced me otherwise.

The Season 3 finale isn't my favorite (A Canterlot Wedding wins that title HARD), but it's not terrible. It's just...Misguided. It's too fast, it's too convoluted, and Celestia's song was only a minute long, and she deserved a full 4.
It just needed to be 2 parts and it would've been leagues better.

To me the last good episode was just for sidekicks, in between one bad Apple and that one the episodes ranged from boring to decent, after that point the episode were bad.


In short never bring up season 3 around me and we'll get along just great.

I enjoyed Season 3, personally, the only subpar episodes being Sleepless in Ponyville, Spike At Your Service, and Magical Mystery Cure.
The rest were all good to decent, in my opinion.

But I'll try to not bring up Season 3 around you, I guess.

Wow this is a first. Everyone i know who watches the show called this right after the start of season 3. It nice to see someone who didnt overthink what was going to happen. On that note the finale wasnt a bad ep it just had to much singing.

I enjoyed the musical episode.
It needed more Celestia, but overall, it was fun.
