Take out the words New Mutants and it could be any generic horror film. The trailer is clearly cashing in on It and it looks awful.

I'm 95% sure that the movie is going to suck. Not to mention it will probably be a PG-13 horror film and modern PG-13 horror movies are pretty terrible. I have no hopes on New Mutants being good since it's from Fox.

Well that trailer was… Something. I might end up giving it a watch but, yeah, do not have high hopes.

So apparently Brian Michael Bendis has left Marvel and signed an exclusive with DC. I for one am happy he's left Marvel. I know he use to be a great/good writer but his recent stuff has ranged from stale to bad (Civil War II was a joke, Ironheart is a straight up sociopath "villain" who he wants everyone to like, etc.) with mixed/mostly negative reviews, so I think a change will be good for him. However, given his recent track record with comics, I'm a bit worried for whatever he'll be put on at DC but hopefully they'll double down and don't give him complete free reign over a title/titles.

Well DC isn't set on burning it's house down like Marvel is/was...

Man, Punisher was heavy. Especially some of Lewis' arc. Took me a week to get through since I didn't really want to binge it.

But it was really, really good! Maybe my new favorite Marvel Netflix show.

I've only watched the first episode of Runaways (which only has 3 out right now? Don't know when the rest will come). Eh, not crazy about some of these changes, like why the heck did we need to introduce some dead sibling to one of them just for tension. And killing Molly's parents... probably so they don't have to deal too directly with the whole mutant thing. Concerned about pacing too. BUT I like the casting for everyone so far and do want to keep watching. Just fanboy nitpicks heh.

Yeah I just finished Punisher on Friday myself.

Easily one of my top 3 Netflix shows that's for sure.

Probably already joked about to high heaven and back, but if the movie doesn't feature the Thanos-copter, I'm leaving disappointed.

Finally, a superhero CG cartoon with a big budget in theaters. It looks amazing!

And while I don't know anything about Miles Morales the setup with Peter Parker being a mentor character is really interesting.

Surprised Sony actually went through with a Miles Morales movie.

I imagine it has something to do with contract they made with Marvel: I imagine Marvel's the only one allowed to make movies using Peter Parker, but Sony is free to use whomever else.
