And now for a mundane explanation. English words on clothing is a thing in Japan. Most of the time it's gibberish, random words and the like. Ever notice the 'Do a rat" jackets in Gaim? But sometimes it's somewhat comprehensible.

Not unlike all those Kanji Tattoos people get here. Which is also a thing in Japan, getting English text tattoos.
