Just based on the fact that there's not really a whole lot of questionable content, I'll say I'm watching the censored version. Which I'm now 12 episodes into.

I'm enjoying it, but one thing has bothered me from the very, very start... Haruyuki. I get that they wanted him to be easily identifiable as this meek awkward kid that doesn't fit in with the others. Portly, slower, a klutz... As much as I dislike that from a stereotype point of view, couldn't they have at least made him... I don't know, look human? He just does not look like he belongs in the same universe as the other characters because of his exaggerated features.

I wonder if this means that the redub will have Uranus and Neptune be in a lesbian relationship and not the cousins of the 90's dub that had more unintentional incest subtext then any Star Wars media about Luke and Leia that came out before Return of the Jedi...

Assuming they target the release to the now adult fans that grew up with the show, I'd see no reason not to use the romantic relationship.
If kids are a possible demographic, then no way they'll do that.

I really don't remember anything in Accel World that would have been deemed censor-worthy.

EDIT: Just watched Disk Wars Avengers episodes 4 and 5. Its making me want a full-length Spidey anime.

I started Psycho-Pass recently, just finished episode 10. I'm definitely enjoying it so far. The violence seems a little gratuitous at times, but in general I like the setting as it's very reminiscent of Minority Report.

Yay more DISK Wars episodes are out, so time for episode four. The best part of this episode was how Barton had bigger biceps than his actual head. HNNNG that quality animation!

Although it doesn't give us anything with any real depth, I at least appreciate that the show tries to explore the DISKs as much as a concept as a novelty. Just because you're a walking toy advert, shouldn't mean that you can't also have fun while doing it, and do that in a meaningful way.

Still though, for all the interesting stuff built around the DISKs, it seemed to drain anything interesting relating to the characters. Why would Fury not recognise the senator of the organisation that ran SHIELD? Stark was so unnecessarily antagonistic he was a parody of himself and Akira is the worst kind of brat to have to follow around.

DISK Wars 05. Akira is seriously the worst.

I absolutely love Hawkeye, so seeing him get to be really badass (albeit freakishly proportioned) was a lot of fun for me, it's just a shamed he eventually bowed out to give Thor spotlight. I mean he's still badass as well, but in my mind Hawkeye > Thor. Meanwhile Spider-Man is being handled horribly, he feels a lot like Yusuke from Decade at this point, despite the fact that in many ways, he's doing better than most of the heavy hitters as he hasn't been caught in a DISK yet.

Sadly the generally shit animation undermines a lot of the more exciting creative decisions in this series. Did it cost so much to get the Marvel licence that they had no money left to animate this? Like I say I'm enjoying this series, but if you haven't already seen Earth's Mightiest Heroes, go watch that instead.

From the first I watched, I thought spiderman's head looked real odd in that one close up. Like someone had run over his mask with a steam roller or he just ironed it or something.

Just something about it made the costume not look right.

My favourite is where his eyes aren't even lined up properly. AH FUCK THEY CHANGE IN EVERY FRAME.

They went for Ultimate Clint for some reason, even though he is by far the most boring version of the character.

Meh, the animation's low-tier but seeing as that tends to be the case with lots of shounen toy gimmick anime I don't let it bother my that much. Still enjoying what it's been doing so far and how deep into Marvel's rogues gallery they tend to dig.

Cause if there are any villains I didn't expect to make appearances in a show like this it would be guys like King Cobra, Wrecker, Diamondback, etc.

I'ts actually pretty close to the way he's depicted now in the regular universe, and of course the movies.

I miss the good ol show-off Clint.

I guess I was just spoiled by Build Fighters. The animation, and general direction for the action in that show is superb. The actual storytelling and characterisation is in many ways weaker than DISK Wars as I've honestly enjoyed what DISK wars is doing with the characters and its own concepts but it just looks so shit.

Plus I dunno, The Wrecking Crew and The Serpent Society were regular villains in EMHs as well, and I honestly liked how they were handled there a lot more.

That's the thing, some books keep it (like Avengers Assemble) other books like his current ongoing took it away.

And his current suit is esentially the same that is shown in Disk Wars.

I heard his new book is great, but if he's Ultimate Boredom Hawkeye in it then meh, I'll pass.

The book is incredibly awesome, it's the one marvel book I wouldn't drop no matter what, it's fun, beautifully drawn and most of the issues have stand-alone stories yet build too a bigger plot.

But Clint is undenaibly more low key in it, probably in big part because the book always deals with his non-avenger, non-hawkeye missions.
I wouldn't call him Ultiamte Boredom... but he is different.

Well, new episode of Ao no Exorcist was, interesting. Also Black Lagoon episode 9 introduces UMBRELLA GUNS & BRIEFCASE GUNS :lol :lolol. Attack on Titan episode 3, Eren Jager mastering the maneuver gear was f**king entertaining :lol.

Getting caught up on the Vanguard season, Ratie is just adorable and I loved that she was able to force Kenji to play against her by feeding him doughnuts, like that one Simpsons episode. :lol

After his awesome speech in episode 2 of Disk Wars, all it takes for Cap to remind us why he's one of the best marvel characters, is 4 lines.

Build Fighters 22. Field two De-sert? I'm pretty sure that isn't a pudding, but more like a canyon.

This episode was pretty awful. Julian comes out of nowhere to give Yuuki someone to fight, and some painfully forced character moments and although he has a pretty cool Gunpla and Yuuki likewise showcases a new and nicely designed machine, the poor animation and general silliness of their battle wasn't very fun. It just sorta feels like the show has been saying fucking it lately.

Kenji should've won that cardfight. Only because he's awesome and because of the whole combination sequence.

Finished Psycho Pass. I enjoyed it overall, but I have mixed feelings on the ending, particularly in regard to Kogami's story. It didn't really have a conclusion, he just kind of disappears. It didn't really seem like it was a stand-alone ending and definitely felt like it was just setting up a sequel. Other than that, though, I thought the series was very good.

I thought it wrapped up Kogami well enough. If anyone knew where he went, he wouldn't be safe. We saw a glimpse of him living alone, so we know he's at least okay.

There is going to be another season, so hopefully that does resolve things... Because that was my biggest problem with the show too.

I'm trying to watch Steins;Gate. I'm so confused as to how this show is #2 on MyAnimeList. The first episode was kind of a big turn off. I get that it's about time travel, but it just didn't really make sense at all. The second and third helped a bit by following a coherent straightforward story, but the crazy people [who I want to know about] we're following make it hard to get invested in.

Seeing these funny image, I definitely need to watch Carnival Phantasm. :lol

I have an odd itch to watch Gundam 00 again. I think it's because I don't remember the show that we'll despite finishing it 8 months ago.
