Sentai Rangers have no armour at all and they're still able to have weight. Black feels practically hollow he's so light. And with no effects pieces to recreate all his signature moves he's a wasted opportunity.

Effect pieces don't make the figure though. You don't have to have them to put him in a Rider Kick, Punch, or Chop pose or even his King Stone Flash pose. He comes with all of the hands needed to do poses as well as grip onto his bike. He isn't a wasted opportunity at all, especially since the original Black is just a fail in the design department.

I think accessories are as important as the figure in a line like Figuarts. Where one figure comes with everything and the next, nothing.

I have seen both and NO ranger has ever had masses of muscle.

I don't know how you can hate him. He is 100% accurate to the show right down to the wrinkles in his armor.

As for the accessories, he has the hands. Sure, I guess they could have had him come with the Satan Saber for the whole 2 minutes he held it, but you can just take that from Shadow Moon is you need to. Black has the hands to put him into his stances, his henshin pose, and his fits for punching. There is nothing else to give him. He also didn't have anything flashy for when he did his kick or punch moves.

Zolda is awesome due to his accessory count. However, Zolda was big on weapons and gear. Black was not. Both come with what they truly need.

As from Black, to be fair, I understand where you are coming from Locke. I do wish Blade King Form came with giant Royal Straight Flush cards to pace in from of him for his attack. But not every figure needs effect pieces. I love the effect pieces, but the only ones I feel it is a truly necessary to be packaged with are MonsterArts and DBZ stuff.

I agree. Accessories are one of my favorite parts of Figuarts and its weird that you have some Figuarts that come with everything you could want like the Jetman, Shinkenger, Gokaiger and TyrannoRanger and then some with really glaring missing pieces, such as the rest of the core Zyurangers with their missing guns and swords.

Okay, admittedly I'm not very far along with Go-Busters, but just looking at Gorisaki's hands and how they're molded into fists even on the suit, what on earth could he possibly come with?!

Yeah, but he was still priced at the same price as the other Figuarts. Figuarts constantly have accessories for their other members, I don't see why he couldn't include something for his team mates. I love him, but its just not the same opening a Figuart and not having a heap of accessories to try out.

Well, I can understand that, but I think his sheer mass more than makes up for what he lacks in accessories as far as price point goes. I can't really say as I don't own him or Ryuji (ONE OF THESE DAYS, DAMN IT!).

Maybe he would've been better off as a Figuart Zero and double-packed with Ryuji like Basco and Sally were?

I definitely prefer him as a Figuart to a ZERO, heck in a perfect world Sally would've been a Figuart with cymbal accessories, but I still would've like something little extra over nothing. I don't regret him and he's very pretty, but he was pretty much the last Sentai Figuart I needed before my collection was complete for a reason.

Black renewal was my favorite figuart of last year. When I open him out of the box, I was blown away on how amazing he looks. The detail on him made me drooling on how amazing he looks. I can't wait to own Kabuto and Black renewal.

I can be okay with lack of accessories as long if the figure is good enough to work on it's own. It's not like some of the recent MA figures where they charge you $50 for bare bone figures like G64.
