Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament - Pink Division Quarter-finals Round 2
 

Let’s play a game: The Gokaiger adaptation isn’t season two of Megaforce, it’s a brand new series with a brand old cast. The six Rangers are all returning characters from previous Ranger teams, gathered together to face off against the most powerful evil ever. But which six Rangers? That’s where this tournament comes in.

We’re going to cast this team with the very best Red Ranger, very best Pink Ranger, very best Blue Ranger, very best Yellow Ranger, very best Grack/Bleen Ranger, and very best Sixth Ranger.

The current team consists of:

Red Ranger: Carter Grayson
Yellow Ranger: Lily Chilman
Blue Ranger: TJ Johnson

The rules are simple: the Rangers of each color fight it out to see which one stands at the top of their personal section of the rainbow. The winners will be determined by popular vote, feel encouraged to explain your choices to help sway the undecided. Fights are all-out brawls – any power-up or weapon is permitted, short of the Zords.

Battles are decided by random selection and each character is represented for each of their colors (Rocky and TJ are in both Red and Blue, Tommy is in Red and Sixth, etc.). Rangers with multiple powers in the same color will be using the ones which are most unique to them (Adam is Zeo Green, Cassie is Space Pink, etc. – yes, this kinda shafts the Turbo Rangers, I know – all three Turbo fans are free to register their complaints). All major teams are represented, MMPR through Megaforce. Evil Rangers like the Psychos and A-Squad - as well as one-shot Rangers like Cat or SPD Red Bridge - are excluded.

So I'm getting a lot of deja vu in these quarter-finals. First we opened with Jen taking a decisive victory, and now we have our round two victor back for another second round match. And it's a run back.

Yes, as the losing Ranger with the most votes last time, Syd was our wild card for this round. And she's going back up against the Ranger that eliminated her. I honestly thought about re-rolling for this round, but I've decided to stick to my guns and go with the match as drawn.

Kim. I'm sorry, but I have such a burning hatred for SPD that I can not allow myself to vote for a character from it, even if they are arguably the better ranger.

Syd, only because she's the only pink ranger without a skirt. At least i think she is.

is there an option if you hate both of them? Can I write in Emma?

Syd. I wanted to vote for Kim but I just cant in good conscience ... Seeing as its pretty clear Jen will win the whole thing I think we should all agree to get Delphina in the finals against her! ...yeah...uhuh

In that case, you should have just abstained.

Anyways, I'm voting for Syd again. I still think she's the better ranger out of these two 'girly-girl' stereotypes.

Still went with Kim. Like I said last time, Kim was able to handle several monsters on her own and demonstrated a lot of quick thinking skills. Syd did neither of those.

Uhh, didn't we already do this matchup?. Just sayin' is all.
