Unpopular Opinions Thread
 

This is quite a popular one over at TFW, so I thought I'd give it a try over here. For those who aren't familiar, its just a place to share thoughts that might be considered against the grain or unpopular by most fans.

I'll get the ball rolling with a few of mine;

* I like Kat far more than Kimberly
* Tommy as the Green Ranger was pretty rubbish when he wasn't evil
* Ninjor's voice is awesome :lol

*Tensou Sentai Goseiger is better than Gokaiger and deserves a full run, not just the half it's getting.
*Ninja Force is the absolute worst season of Power Rangers.
*I to enjoyed Kat more than Kimberly
*I hate Dino Force only because Tommy was stuck in his suit for half the season.
*Kamen Rider Dragon Knight is watchable.

Decade sucked.
Gokaiger sucked more.
I think OOO is superior to Double.
I liked Ninjor's voice :lol

That's one for the side of justice!

I'm considering giving Goseiger another chance after seeing the rampant praise Gokaiger got...

I would highly recommend this.

-Kagami was the best thing about Kabuto
-Tendou was the worst thing about Kabuto
-Chiaki was the best character in Shinkenger
-Pink Sentai Characters are the least interesting

I would argue Tommy was pretty rubbish in his entirety, and he only seemed awesome because the concept of an evil Ranger, regardless of who that Ranger was, was pretty awesome as a kid. Other than that, he was pretty much Jason 2.0.

Really? Those are unpopular opinions? They all seem to be right on the money for me (I still maintain, to this day, Kagami should have been the main focus on Kabuto).

Maybe, but it strikes me especially with the Green Ranger period because half the time he's showing up late and doing very little because of the Zyuranger footage limitations, and the other half he's being crap because his powers are weak. The best moments where he was the Green Ranger were the times he either wasn't morphed or had completely lost his powers altogether.

It's the problem of trying to adapt multiple Sentais, which were never meant to be combined and compared, into one continuity. I mean did anyone ever look at Tommy before Turbo and think "Oh yeah, I can totally see him as a race-car driver".

But yeah, Tommy was kind of crap as the Green Ranger. They could have saved it by making Tommy a more interesting character, but as I said he really just boiled down to a Jason clone. Not that any of the original MMPR cast were overly interesting (Billy and Kimberly only really got interesting because they were on the show for so long).
