Bluefin Tamashii PR Figuarts Poll: "Which OTHER Ranger Teams Do You Want?"
1 Attachment(s)
The first of probably several polls regarding Figuarts & Power Rangers from Bluefin has now opened!
These polls usually help contribute to future releases so every fan should participate and make their voice heard. :) Quote:
Head Over & Start Voting! |
Just sounds like even further confirmation we are getting Mighty Morphin SHF to me.
I voted for In Space. |

Voted for RPM, I love both that show and Go-Onger so I want some merch for it!
|
Mystic Force/Magiranger. I want me figuarts with capes!
|
After looking over all the choices. I'VE GOT YOUR BACK ZEORANGER!
Aside from MMPR they were the most memorable for me. I HOPE WE GET'EM! |
They forgot Jungle Fury.
EDIT: Nevermind, it's been fixed. |
As much as I'd love to own a Figuart of Carter Grayson, I get the feeling that this might be the only way to get Figuarts of the Zeo Rangers, so I voted for Zeo.
|
its not gonna happen but i voted for ninja storm.
|
Voted Time Force but really want the Gold Zeo Ranger
|
Lightspeed Rescue is 6th, and RPM is second to last. You will pay dearly, Kakuranger fans.
|
Booyah! In Space is winning! I'd love to get some Zeo down the road as well.
|
Glad to see they're asking a sensible question.
Went with In Space myself just because I loved that series. Though I know I'll still probably not get any Sentai Figuarts... |
Alien/Kaku...Jungle Fury/Geki...*Sighs*
|
I want to say lost galaxy... But I'm only really interested in Magna Defender...
|
I put in my vote for Lightspeed Rescue
I just want to say, thank God they are doing a poll for stuff OUTSIDE mmpr, that makes the poll completely fair for everything now |
I had to vote for In Space. Aside from Tommy, Andros has always been my favorite red ranger.
|
Zeo. Zeo. Zeo. Zeo.
|
I voted for Jungle Fury. For absolutely no other reason than I want an RJ/Wolf Ranger/GekiViolet. Screw the rest of them, I want that.
|
I just want to make a statement that vote for these things in hopes for figuarts of american only rangers like the titanium ranger or characters that are more popular with the american fanbase like the psyco rangers or the phantom ranger
Megared aka red in space ranger is gonna happen, anything from sentai will eventually happen. |
Kakuranger and Sun Vulcan!!!!!!!

I went for Ninja Storm. Out of all of the choices I could see myself picking those up the most.
Weird, semi-related side note... I just realized how disgustingly easy it would be to make In Space/Megaranger Figuarts. You'd need what? Two different body molds an a single head? |

A Squad could also use that head mold. :p Actually, because it's Figuarts they would probably put the emblems in the foreheads Riders eye style. Think there's some other little differecnes in the helmets too. |

I voted for Alien Rangers since KakuRanger is my second favorite series.
BTW, why is JF/Geki not on the list? |
I went with Turbo, need some Carranger!

Even if say, Time Force, wins by thousands of votes, that doesn't mean Bandai will care, if they don't think they'll sell in Japan. I'm sure the Power Rangers anniversary does have something to do with the Zyuranger figures coming soon. But they're still Zyuranger Figuarts and there's literally zero possibility of Lord Zedd or the Titanium Ranger or anything along those lines. |

Bluefin would not be wasting their time at all with these polls if nothing is to come of it. They do have a connection to Bandai Japan as they are acting as their middleman in the US, meanwhile Bandai America goes its own direction with mass market as their target market. Bluefin targets us collectors. Bluefin is doing what the Toynami x Tamashii partnership was doing until that deal folded, and actually, Bluefin is doing a lot more than that partnership ever did. These guys also distribute many Gundam plamo in the US to hobby shops, comic shops and specialty stores, something that Bandai America gave up on in the early 2000's. Your comparison with TRU is different. TRU is a retailer. Bluefin is a distributor run by fans. Also it is not unlikely, especially now, for Tamashii Japan to make TWE's with unique tooling. This has become a trend for them. Look what happened to the Armor Plus line, a number of Robot Damashii figures and Figuarts. They are not beyond using tooling for only 1 production run. So figures like Lord Zedd are a possibility. EDIT: I want to see Dino Thunder and Ninja Storm. GOURAIJAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Using examples of DBZ and other franchises makes little sense. They have a bigger market in the US than they do for Japan, hence why the US takes priority. They can make a lot of money from them here and still sell them as exclusives for those who want them in Japan. That's absolutely not the case with Sentai/Power Rangers, since nobody in Japan is going to know who these characters are. It's awesome that they're putting in so much effort for such a small fanbase, but it is a very small fanbase here, not big enough to create a line of figures solely aimed at us.
I'm not claiming Bluefin have no influence, if there's enough demand for a particular series from us, I'm sure Tamashii will take notice. But like I said, it's no different than if Toys r Us were running the poll, they can give suggestions based on our feedback, but they're not the ones actually making the figures. |

Dragon Ball Z and Megaman have NOTHING on Power Rangers when it comes to popularity, and yet you're saying that they can get lines that are basically kept alive by American collectors, but fucking POWER RANGERS can't? Explain this to me, because it is doing my fucking head in. |
