Sentai Super Robots
 

When it comes to Super Robots I favor the ones from Super Sentai more, although 90% of the Anime Super Robots would murder a Sentai Robo LOL!

My question is, what is your favorite theme when it comes to Sentai Robots? I much prefer the old school style of a generic robot over an animal based one. We seem to get a lot of animal ones these days. :/

My favorites are the Engines and Geki beasts though, so take that for what you will.

I favor the old school stuff as well, DynaRobo, and BioRobo are among my favorites.

i like 3 pice vechels [goggle v, dynaman , changeman, flashman]

well, im a magiranger fanboy, so of course magiranger...... but also, the very design that got me hardcore into the tokufandom daibouken from boukenger, the engines,gekibeasts hell even earlier mecha like muteki shogun

those are my faves too. i love the Gao God and Gao Hunter from Gaoranger and Gingaioh from Gingaman as well!

I'm partial to vehicular ones over animal ones myself. The 99 Machines/Victory Robo is my favorite "main" meka, so that gives you an example of my taste.

GokaiOh is definitely my favourite, followed by Shinken-Oh, MagiKing and GaoKing in no particular order :)

I much prefer animal to vehicle.
But to tell the truth, I'm more interested in robos with unique combinations. After all, you can only see a truck/wolf/whatever fold up and have the trailer/body fold up to form a leg so much :lol
But that's not the question. So, like I said, I like the animals over the vehicles.

GoLiner is a sexy beast, I love that thing... there are so many that I forget about lol!

1. Gekitouja (Gekiranger) - The way it fights (yes, including the silly finishers) is still my favorite. I like the simple gimmick and design as well.
2. Shinkenoh (Shinkenger) - Origami gimmick FTW
3. Galaxy Mega (Megaranger) - One of the few non five-part mecha that looks awesome even after 15 years
4. RV Robo (Carranger) - Watch the show :)
5. Dekaranger Robo (Dekaranger) - The finisher move was my favorite

I personally dont have a favorite type although gokai-oh is probably my favorite but i also really love abaren-oh. just as long as they have interesting designs I'm fine either way

My favorite mecha of all time is:

Mahou Sentai Magiranger: Magiking
-A wizard knight mecha is an awesome idea, a wizard knight mecha that is executed well is fantastic. Magiking's fights were exhilarating and very fun to watch as they (the siblings) fought monsters of various shapes and sizes. He also had brilliant finishers which were actual plot points in the series, making them so cool when unveiled. Just look at how those wings unfold!
