First Official Images: Power Rangers MegaForce Toyline!
 

Power Morphicon kicks off this weekend, and the first big event is the official unveiling of MegaForce toys!

Display shelves have also confirmed some story/character details:

*Goseigers' "Brajira" is now known as Vrak
*The Foot Soldiers will be known as Loogies.

At the moment a majority of these toys appear to be near-direct adaptations of Tensou Sentai Goseiger material (with some exceptions including new "Motorcycle Headers") but exact details regarding differences are not available. Stay tuned for more updates as Morphicon continues!

I'm liking the Headder-like Vehicles. Never seen that before.

so they didnt change the tensouder? so are we going to get dice-oh cards

Attaching each set of Header Brothers to a central body... I can dig it. Colors are weird, but it does look kinda cool. Reminds me of Daitenkuu.
Using the bodies of Sky/Sealeon as motorcycles... Really?
And lastly, Guysei Great... Proportions look better, a lot better actually, but those non black Header Ports drive me nuts. And it's hard to tell, but I don't think I see the hinge Gosei Phoenix's "wings" use to fold down. If they're not actually there... Ugh...


I wouldn't call it just yet. Besides, I doubt BoA would have a Tensouder sophisticated enough to read cards.

Well it's hard to tell without much to reference in the two pics in the article right now, but they're almost assuredly smaller than the Goseiger counterparts. But faithfully downsizing them is a good move in my opinion. Not that these Zords would have been terribly complicated in the first place. :P

Oh, and giving out the Header sets with vehicles? Freakin genius.

Loving we're getting original asian market DX Gosei toys. Completely makes up for Lightzord.

What display case at Power Morphicon are you looking at exactly? I thought it was pretty obvious Gosei Great didn't have most of his header ports the right color...

I dunno, that pic looks more slim-lined than Gosei Great to me. Hopefully we'll get some better pics over the weekend so we can see what the differences really are.

Well we've got pics of action figures and the morpher now. I found them on RRR first.

well theyve been slimmed down for sure, the great head is actually in scale with the rest of his body, will definetly get that combined blaster, probly the morpher and megazords too. i love how theyre giving u something along with the headers

I may get the Tensouder as it looks pretty good, just want to see what sounds it has. The GoseiGreat/MegaForce Megazord also looks nice.

Well, "Gosei" is apparently the name of their Giant Headed Mentor. It's better than "MegaForce Morpher" or "MegaForce Megazord", for sure.

I'll probably buy 4" Robo...Knight? Ranger? Senturion? Tommy? Whatever they're going to call him. Otherwise, I'll decide what I like enough to buy toys of upon seeing the show.

PS Is that a villian from Goseiger above the 4" Ranger?

At most they could work like the cards in the Dragon Knight line.

If the morpher really is 25-30$, then i'm willing to bet it does. The barcode half on the card is strange too.

If that Card is any indication looks like the forms will be Sea Megazord, Land Megazord, and Air Megazord. I'm good with that. Loogies I'm a little iffy about, but meh. No worse then some of the other idiotic names they gave foot soldiers over the years.

I wonder if Vrak is what he's called as Buredoran or Brajira (or both I guess, but it'd be cool to see him take a different name again imo)?

Oh my, this looks a lot better than Samurai's toy line. Looks like no Mega Modes at this point though. But then again, Mega Megarangers sounds dumb.

I would have gone with better names like Venomites or Rammers.

Looks like the cards have been turned into a TCG, I wonder if there will be booster packs.

Liking the looks of this stuff. It pains me to say this but it looks like BOA can actually improve on the originals.

I'm very much looking forward to this. Looks like I'll definitely be spending some Power Rangers money next year. I'm not going to knock anything 'til I see it in action. The tensouder seems cool, no matter what. Just having affordable "Goseiger" stuff is fine with me. :D

Also, DEFINITELY buying the MMPR morpher, 50 bucks is well worth it.

So, those who are familiar with DX Gosei Great, is it certain that the Megazord is not a direct adaptation of the Bandai of Japan figure? It does look a bit slimmer than the Japanese figure.

oh its not a direct repackage by far. the head on goseigreat is tiny while this is normal sized

Maybe I'm missing it, but I don't see anything about the price on that card. Just name of product, release date and disclaimer that it's for display only/not final product.

It's also interesting they've already got the Gosei Ground on display. Perhaps it's sp they can start pushing the Gokaiger stuff quicker?
