Fourze Episode 47-"Close Friends Sepa-Rated" Discussion
1:Now that it's known what Kengo truly is, how will the Kamen Rider Club deal with the news that he's the Core Child? Are Gentaro and Yuki really willing to say goodbye to their friend?
2:Sagittarius and Leo are livid that the Day of Awaking was prevented by Kengo. In order to proceed with their dark plans they have to deal with him and what better way than to attack the Rabbit Hatch? Will the KRC get out alive? 3:Kengo is coming to terms with the fact he must return to the Presenters. But first he must battle the last two Horoscopes as Fourze! At long last Kengo will suit up to fight against the Zodiart menace! But he may be over his head as Sagittarius and Leo are the strongest members and his health was never that good to begin with... 4:Will Shun get in through his head that Miu's just not into him as a boyfriend anymore? As always you can discuss the epsiode here! |
Haha, copying my format for when I post those threads. Nice :lol.
This is certainly an episode to see! Prepare to watch the second to last episode of Fourze this Sunday! |
It's a good format you have there OOO. It works really well and it's must better than my old spare comments on these topics before.Big round of applause to you man.
I'm kinda sad that this show's ending since it really grew on me. Wizard's got a hard act to follow, at least for me that is.To think that before W I was never into Kamen Rider and now I'm a fan of the bugmen. I really must thank the actors, writers and directors for such a great series and I wish them all the best in all future endeavors. |

I'm still calling this.
Kengo decides to stay on earth. Possible ship with him and Yuki. The presenters do something that causes Gamou's defeat. |

Am I the only person who doesn't watch the RAW? I feel like I'm always 2 days behind on episodes compare to you guys :lol

Speaking of the raw, it's online now on youtube. Might wanna go on Jefusion to view it though, don't know if it's private or not
|
It's heavy indeed. Even though I saw a RAW I could still understand the emotion:
It's shocking how well these guys can act. Characterization is definably Fourze's strong point. Plus what happened to Kengo was brutal. Gamou's a COLD bastard indeed. It's going to be hard to say goodbye to these characters after growing to love them so much. I'm really going to miss the KRC and the quirky students of Amanogawa High School. |

Kou still looks like Ripjaws to me. But Gamou's Supernova form looks better than I first thought. |
I had a legitimate teary-eyed moment with that scene in the space museum.
Not the situation itself, but more-so the residual emotion from it if that makes any sense whatsoever. It's going to be a rough one indeed, this finale, but I look forward to every second of it. |
A great penultimate episode, if I have one complaint it's that Leo's backstory did feel a bit forced but it was nice to get it. While I don't like Sagittarius' Supernova as much as his normal form, it is pretty awesome. I love how it's a more slim and sleek design, and the Kamen Rider helmet on the forehead is a nice touch. I did not expect Kengo to die, and I think he may actually stay dead

Anyway, I can't wait for the finale. I have no idea what's gonna happen next. |

It's endgame time next week

Seriously, I bawled my eyes out at the end of Double. I got really misty-eyed at the end of OOO, too. But this is the third series in a row where the main supporting bro has died at the end. Again, it might just be that I'm not that into Fourze, but I just found this a much weaker retread of Philip's death - right down to the whole "I'm actually data in a boy suit" thing. This was by no means a bad episode, though. I loved the fight scenes and I'm really curious to see how this all ends. I'm more excited by the premiere of Wizard in two weeks, though (although I will miss the hell out of Ryusei and his crazy awesome Jeet Kune Do). |
Miu just started getting attractive again. Her "Oops" still gets me every time.
Loved the un-henshined battle with Leo. Ryuusei I wish wasn't relegated now to "back up that gets his ass kicked". I miss when he was top dog. |

And like Switchblade said, I'm really going to miss Meteor's "WATAA!"s. |

And I kinda preferred Miu with the shorter hair. There must have been some kind of break in production between these last two episodes, because it looks like her hair has noticeably grown since last week. |
I'm gonna miss Fourze. He really grew on me.
And the untransformed fight between Leo and Ryusei was awesome. Don't know why I failed to mention it. |
Man that was a hell of an episode. The epic Gentarou/Kengo bromance scene made me cry. Literally. That was truly the best goodbye ever. And it made Kengos' death even harder on me :( I can't wait to see how this all concludes. The last couple of months have been some of the strongest stuff out of the entire series. Wizard has a lot to follow up on.

I have to say, this was a great episode.
Also, my jaw dropped at that ending. HOLY. If I were to guess how they'll resolve the series from here, it'll involve using the Cosmic Switch and the power of Friendship to bring back Kengo |
I have to say...enjoyed the hell out of that episode. I LOVED the non-henshined fight! Plus seeing the Supernova form of Statigarious was pretty bitchin...
I just have *one* nitpicking... Rabbithutch is on the moon, ok, got it...But for Meteor to Henshin, it is from an orbital blast from a cannon that seems to be in geosyncronus orbit...The moon is further out of orbit than the satelite...how did the blast hit? That thought went through my mind for half a second before I told myself to shut up, it's a kids show lol... Fourze I do have to say since episode one has had stead momentum, and no script hicups or direction changes. I can watch episode one and see how we ended up at the end. Not my favorite Rider...as a Rider persay...but one of the better shows we have had in a long time. |
I have to agree with Gen here. It's hard to truly say goodbye. I'm still bummed about OOO ending and W was a fun little romp around. It seems like the more I like cetain characters the more bummed out I get when their series end.
It's going to be a long wait until the Wizard team up movie. |
-Friendship will reconstruct Kengo
-Presenters let him stay on Earth, and makes Kengo into a real human. Calling it now. |
As long as he doesn't get swallowed by a whale or nose grows when he lies...
|
Wow, what an episode. There is some awesome fight choreography going on here.
Kengo's goodbye was hard too. I'm gonna miss this three-part block of W, OOO and Fourze. Friendship reconstruction is a given, but I'm actually kinda wishing that Kengo stays dead. Oh, and Miu's "oops" is still the stupidest thing ever. |
I liked Yuki in this episode. It reminded me of a time were her Hayabusa-kun song was adorable, and not cringe worthy.
|
I downloaded the two Fourze OST's and the Music States album ... so I get to jam to my favorite Kamen Rider Fourze tunes alllllll day now.

On the episode still sad that Leo outlived Kengo. He really turned out to be a total Gary Stu. |

I really like Leo. He's grown in to the perfect side-villain, nearing awesome levels like Basco did in Gokaiger.
His "GRRROOWWWL" before transforming was fucking awesome, I got chills. |
Leo is a pretty sweet side villain. I REALLY wonder what'll happen to him in 48.
Killing him off seems kinda rushed, especially if we're dispatching Gamou in the same episode. Could be interesting to leave the character's plot arc to be resolved in the next Kamen Rider movie though. |
