Huh. Looks like they put rangers from before Zyuranger in the Ranger war. It's not like the kids will know any of the other rangers before Samurai either though.

I gotta say, I'm pretty surprised.

Meh, none of that was new footage so the appearance of the pre-Zyu teams may turn out not to mean anything.

Yeah, they most likely used the Gokaiger footage since the Zyuranger and up reshoot isn't done yet.

Didn't they say Goseiger and Gokaiger were going to be combined into one overall season for the 20th Anniversary? Because I can see it working where the Goseiger half ends with the Legend War and Gokaiger picks up after a short timeskip.

It's not that they "put them in there", it's straight up movie footage.

Ok so the great war is happening at the end but It showed Jetman and Goranger if this is the power rangers version they shouldn't be there someone please explain this to me

Poor wording on my part. The only thing I was pointing out is that Saban is advertising their new show using footage that includes rangers that haven't appeared in Power Rangers before.

I loved the raucous cheering that occurred during the close up of Akaranger and the start of the Legend War scene.

I seriously hope they don't cut them and just have some BS explanation like "We're rangers of different countries/planets/universes/times/etc"

This is probably just something they put together for Morphicon I imagine, to build up hype.

TOEI re-shot the footage for Saban, they stated as such a year ago. My big questions are whether or not they're including the US only or US-centric Rangers:

Power Rangers Turbo Phantom Ranger (lot more focus in Turbo and In Space than Sentai)
Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue Titanium Ranger (complete US only Ranger)
Power Rangers Jungle Fury Elephant, Shark, and Bat Rangers (again, complete US only Rangers)

If they're included then I'm sold. If they're not then I'm still sold, just sad.

I enjoyed everything about this Promo. I loved the music, I loved how epic it might it feel. I loved the footage of the Warstars. Kind of dissapointed they decided to add the war footage. I know it's coming, but stop trying to rush it.

I get why people are excited. Hell, I enjoyed the original Gokai/Gosei movie. I loved the end trying to see how many Mechs I could name from memory when I paused the video (I missed 7). Just.. I don't like we're getting 2 years of Samurai, and only one of Goseiger and Gokaiger.

Wow, that trailer almost managed to make Goseiger footage look epic. I'm now kind of curious to see how they'll pull off Datas, given how damn cartoony he is. Very cool to see the Legend War footage, too, reminding us we only have to put up with half a season's worth of Goseiger crap.

I'm watching you.

Datas is probably cut out for the most part. He's already been cut from the toyline.

Yeah, it doesn't look like they're bringing over the Dice-O game, so they have no reason to do cross promotions.

That's my thought. Which makes sense, they can't add everything into a half-season. The ultimate zord of this season will probally be the Ground Gosei great combination.

The beauty of this toyline is that they have the ability to throw out Datas entirely and they'd still be able to create a combination using all of the header ports for Hyper Gosei Great. Then again, they could just cut everything but the three header combinations and Ground Gosei Great, but hey.

I loved the Legend War reveal. That was genuinely exciting.

The more I see for MegaForce the more hype I build up for myself despite the same thing happening with Samurai last time.

I've gotta say that the fact they're using that Legend War footage blows my mind/gives me great hope.

that was the first time goseiger ever looked impressive to me, but you can only do so much with something so lackluster :lol

I am laughing at the fact that there was almost no cheers from the audience until akaranger appeared on screen :lol

Honestly, I imagine that's what alot of people in the room were waiting for, the Gokaiger reveal. :lol

I'm actually kind of hoping they're just using the Sentai Legend War footage as a placeholder for the Ranger War footage Toei's shooting right now.

i gotta admit this was the 1st time i appreciated the gold trim on the Goseiger/MegaForce suits as it does come across as an anniversary type suit with it. Sort of a special edition ranger. As everyone else has stated I'm sure the footage of the sentai legend war was just a place holder to rouse the crowed and confirm that it will be used for this series.

Yeah, I'd dare say Goseiger has the potential to be more appropriate as anniversary Power Rangers than the Gokaigers. As early as their first reveal, the Goseigers have been noted to be very classically designed, what with the embossed mouthpieces, visor designs, weapons, and somewhat traditional suits. In fact, they allude more to the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers than the earlier Super Sentai teams, with their animal-motif visors and colors.

Gokaiger is perfect as an anniversary for Super Sentai, with their colors matching the Gorangers, while Goseiger seems more appropriate as an anniversary for Power Rangers.

yeah! Power Rangers is able to stand on it's own without having to use Sentai as a crutch. I love Sentai & I love Power Rangers, they don't need to rely on the other.

Looks like this new show could be pretty interesting. I'll give it a shot, but I don't expect much enjoyment from it, tbh.
