This is it everyone the end game. Will Fourze and Meteor stop the last two Zodiarts or will the city and everyone in it be destroyed? As always you can discuss the epsiode here! Now,everyone say it one more time: Uchuu Kitaaaaaaaa! |
Beat me to my job on the last damn episode.... oh well!
|
yes and I changed the numbering a little.
|
To think we're now at this point. Who will live and who shall die? "sigh" I'm really impressed with this series as a whole. It's going to be hard to say goodbye to it.
I'll just say this to close: Never settle for the sky as your limit. Aim for the star instead. |
THAT WAS SUCH AN AWESOME EPISODE!!!! SO SAD IT'S OVER!!! :cry
FOURZE, you have replaced Den-O as my 3rd favorite Rider Series! And freaking :lolol at Haruto/Kamen Rider Wizard cockblocking Shun by flashing his ring at Miu :lol |
Can't believe that this show is over. This series is DEFINITELY one of my favorite Kamen Rider series ever.
|
I really dug that episode. It wasn't the outright insanity that I was expecting, but what we got was pretty solid from what I could tell.
The big fight in the field with Fourze, Meteor, Sagittarius, and Leo was spectacular. I loved how they marathoned every single Limit Break, and doubled up the Meteor Storm Punisher. Also, I really hope Wizard is good, because every new promo I see I loose a little bit of interest in it. I'd really love to be wrong, or else this ending is going to be a bit more difficult. |
I knew it I knew it I knew it!
Ha! called it weeks ago. |
I remember when very few people had faith or liked Fourze, yet now its turning out to be almost everyone's favorite.I say Wizard is gonna be just as good,if not better.Plus yeah, then end credits with the proposal and Wizard's blocking of it was just hilarious.

So much to digest! I loved it, loved loved loved it! Wizard has a big bar to surpass in my opinion. My first Kamen Rider from start to finish ... and it was amazing.

I'm definitely going to need to see it again with subtitles, but I thought it was a pretty good ending. The fights were cool, although after how unstoppable Leo and Sagittarius have been up until now, it feels like they both maybe went down too easily. I don't know, maybe that's just me. The end to Kengo's story was good, but like I said last week, everything about it seems straight the hell out of W (although I really liked the mechanic for it, that was clever). I'm also a little bummed that we never got to see Sonoda again - is she just stuck on Tachibana's satellite forever? Having Nao Nagasawa and Alternative Zero back was an awesome touch, though.
I guess ultimately, as much as I enjoyed it, this really doesn't stand out as one of the great Rider finales to me - certainly not on par with OOO or W, much less the all-time greats like Blade and Black. It was... nice. There were some cool character moments, we got some good wrap-up, and the fights were pretty good (especially Meteor vs. Leo). In the end, though... well, let me put it this way: last year, when OOO ended, I was really sad to be leaving the show and all the characters I'd grown to love behind. This year, I'm not. Fourze was good, but I'm ready to move on to Wizard and I'm not sure I'll be looking back that much. |
It's been quite a ride and honestly I enjoyed every second of it. Characters that I cared about, designs that are both goofy and yet cool at the same time, plus it talked about how important friendship, trust and loyalty are. I still miss W and OOO but I'm going to miss Fourze most of all.
The main thing was you never knew how things went down. I thought I'd be happy to see Gamou go down but after what went down I felt really bad for the poor guy. In the end he was as much a victim of his plan as the others. At least he brought back Kengo before he bit it. |
Huh I just saw the music video for the movie's theme and ... apparently there was a ship for Yuki and Kengo from what I saw.

Goodness what an exhilarating episode! Definitely an exciting, worthy end to a fantastic series.
First things first, the scene with Kengo's final words were very touching, made better by the delivery of all the actors. It summarized how far the characters have come and how their relationships have matured. The action was kinetic and heart-pounding. The relentless exchange of blows, the huge blow by Meteor on Leo that cancelled their transformations and the use of every single States by Fourze were terrific to watch. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, Gentarou sends Gamou to the school hall and has that emotional graduation ceremony with everyone else while kicking Gamou's butt UNTRANSFORMED. Finishing the ceremony with an amazing Rider Kick. "Representing the graduate class, Kamen Rider Fourze, Kisaragi Gentarou." Bone-chilling indeed. Thanks for a great year, you're a series I'll remember fondly years to come. |
A great episode but it's a bit rushed. Gamou changed too fast.
|
The finale was pretty good; tons of great action with some emotional moments that nicely tied into the heart of the series.
But it did nothing to resolve my isses with Fourze. What about the people on the M-BUS? The remaining Horoscope users could've been interesting backup for Gentaro but instead they're just forgotten and might as well be stuck there forever now. Kengo's return at the end was predictable and lame; one of several elements done better elsewhere. Meteor is still more or less a waste of space I didn't hate watching Fourze but I definitely don't count it among my favorites. |

I need to track down the song that played over the ceremony. Definitely want that on my ipod.
Other than the M-Bus thing not being explained, I've loved Kamen Rider Fourze from beginning to end. That finale did not disappoint me and I'm really going to miss the Club. Wizard has a lot to live up to, and that was before he went around cockblocking Shun >:[ |

Pure awesome-ness, thats what it was, pure unfiltered awesome.
Definitely a series I would like to marathon through at some point but for now based on everything i can remember this series is by far my favourite. There are just so many great episodes and stand out moments when i compare it to other series that I've seen. Now to see how Wizard holds up. Quote:

SPOILER WARNING for my post, including for Kamen Rider W. I assume they saved the M-BUS people eventually. It was a bit of a missed opportunity to not have them present for the final battle, but I don't think they'll really add too much. I think it would be better for them to have a short epilogue showing them returning to Earth safely. Quote:

If there was anything I would change, it would've been the overall ending, showing what happened to those on the MBUS, like during the teacher meeting maybe Sonada could've walked in, or during the panning shots of the students on the school grounds maybe we could've seen Kijima's performers or those school enforcers Taurus ran.
Other than that, I get teary eyed during Kengo's goodbye (And, unlike W, his return didn't anger me all that much. His staying dead really didn't fit with the overall feeling of the series). That said, it's a fine ending, had some great moments, awesome fights (I took a breath of relief when Gen didn't use all 41 switches), and even had me laugh a bit. Also, Paladin, how is Meteor a waste of space? Seriously? |

And then they did absolutely NOTHING with the concept. Once Aries died & Meteor's former partner was essentially cured from the Zodiart Switch, any character development ceased. Hell, I'm not even sure his friend was cured; we never even SAW the coma-guy again once the Aries arc was over. That just strikes me as a waste. |

I'm kinda glad that it was Gamou who revived Kengo, and they didn't do some cheesy friendship revival...although him becoming a real human? Totally called that one. |
It was enjoyable. I kinda had a feeling Gentaro was gonna try being Gamou's friend after the fight. I could have done without the music during the fight. It reminded me of the ballet fight scene in the OOO's portion of movie war core. But i am glad they added more to Ryuusei and Tomoko at the end. I think we have a slight idea what the Fourze portion of the Wizard / Fourze movie will be now. I was kinda hoping for Shun in the Power Dizer one last time , but it's cool.
I will miss these guys , but Wizard has promise. |

All that man did was walk by with a giant ring and it caught her eye. Did i miss something? |

And I haven't watched the finale yet but love spoiling myself, so yay. :P Waiting on TVN as always... But I didn't think Wizard would show up somewhere. |
Man, what a great episode, I really enjoyed Gentarou doing his handshake with Gamou, cheesy or not, befriending the villain is a very fitting way to end the series.
I guess from now on it's showtime, huh? |

I think the MBUS will have something to do with the next movie war.

FINALLY got to watch this today. It was a brilliant ending to a great show. It's in my top number of Rider shows even if it's not my favorite. The ending did feel very rushed though. Nao Nagasawas' appearance was way out of left field. The M-Bus characters were never explained at all. They're just there and now that Virgo is dead I assume they are starving/dead. And Meteor not being involved more in the graduation thing struck as off. I loved Ryusei and I always hate when a show doesn't include the secondary rider enough in the finale. Like in OOO when the Births just sort of caught Eiji instead of really doing anything useful. Yes, Meteor got to stick it to Leo which was beyond awesomeness. But he should have been there for the graduation and to do some kind of friendship punch with Fourze
|
The thing that bummed me out the most was that Ohsugi didn't become the principal.

Well we just finished the last four episodes of Fourze and wow, what a great series the show turned out to be. The series as a whole had a rough start for me, but after two episodes, I was hooked. The monster designs were excellent, especially those belonging to Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius. The characters were well done, ableit not as developed as I would have liked. I really think Daimonji and Miu should have left the show after they graduated because their stories were finished and they really didn't do too much afterwards, but other than that, I have no complaints on the main cast. My biggest complaint though would be the lack of development on the villains side. For such strong and intimidating villains, they didn't do anything to make us care for them at all. I think my other complaint was there was no danger of any of the students actually dying, just getting injured. I would have liked to have seen what would have happened had one of the students actually died from using a Zodiart Switch.
Nevertheless, unlike the other show that began airing during Fourze's run, at least the Zodiarts in general felt like an actual threat. I think my final complaint is that it was just predictable. I guessed who everyone was episodes before they even revealed themselves. The only one that took me by surprise was Tachibana's identity, but other than that, I could tell you who was whom when it came to the main Horoscopes. Nevertheless, the story of the show as extremely well done, the action was fantastic to watch, the switches actually played their gimmicks well and there were some really cool combos done throughout the show (albeit spread out at times). And finally, the ending was great. Except for ignoring those that were "sent" into the Dark Nebula subplot that seemed to be forgotten after Virgo revealed where they really were, I have no complaints. In fact, it is hard to believe Toei has managed to pull off three Rider shows in a row without an ending that feels lackluster or half-assed. With that said, I look forward to see what they can pull off in Wizard, and I look forward to more cameos from Foundation X because they did not have enough screen time in Fourze (in fact, not including the movie, their one shot cameo seemed forced in and pointless since nothing became of it). With that said, "SPACE IS AWESOME!!" Wait, maybe it's "IT'S SPACE TIIIIIIIIME!!" Quote:
For Wizard though, I'll be doing OT's. |

I don't really have much opinion on TVN vs OT. I just roll with OT because they get stuff out faster.
However, I will forever mock their "Regardless of what the official merchandise all say, his name is 'Oga'!" statement. Uizaado should be good, though. |
