Power Rangers Super Samurai airdate and trailer
 

The official Power Rangers facebook page has just announced that the second season of the popular Power Rangers Samurai, now titled Power Rangers Super Samurai, will premiere Saturday February 18th at 12n/11c on Nickelodeon!

Not only this, but the official Power Rangers youtube account has also uploaded a 30 second teaser trailer for the season, which can be found below. Included is our first on-screen look at the Red Ranger battlizer armour!

Oh cool, looks like they are copying the Shinkenger end battle with the out of suit thing.

That's one thing I'm happy about. I like seeing them fight the monster out of suit.

I like the American footage of Jayden spinning around and slashing while the Super coat goes on.

WOW! kinda want to see that Battlizer in action. did we get a battlizer for RPM? can't recall.

Nope!!! No Battleizer or Teamup since Operation Overkill I think.

Well, here's hoping it's good. Though it's looking like the Battlizer may just be for piloting the zords like the Mega Modes.

Battlizer looks even better in action than it does in toy form! I hope it's not a Megazord-exclusive suit.

Based on that, id say the Samurai/RPM crossover is meant to be in season 2 or not?

so bad ass! it's been decades since i've been excited about Power Rangers! i hope this is how they treat Battlizers from here on out, tired of those cheesy over the top fights :/

the Megablade/Bullzooka combo don't look all that bad on screen.

Why is this show still airing? It came out last Feb, it should have been done by now.

To make it "two seasons"

Aren't they behind the Sentai seasons enough? Samurai should have been over so they can start the Goseiger adapatation.

The popular theory is that Saban is going to skip Goseiger and go straight to Gokaiger (Power Rangers: Mega Force or something).

Weird...who knows. It'll be entertaining in some weird way I'm sure.

Again, this shows that Saban is slowly shaping up with Power Rangers. The ending of the previous "season" had lots of potential for innovations, and I'm glad to see they've taken that route here. Please oh please give us awesome Battlizer battles!

I'm really excited for this! I know my son is too! You know I'd love to see Bulk and Spike get to wear the Ranger suites as a laugh. Some US exclusive episode. Especially Bulk since he has been around so long. :D

Well skipping Goseiger is not a huge loss given it was a terrible show, but there is no way they can make Gokaiger work in PR. Unless they plan to cut out every Pre-Zyu team, which is impossible.

They can easily make it work. Most of the love was for teams within the last ten years...so it should be a cinch.

What? Oh god no. Outside of DinoThunder, Disney did not give us one memorable team or a truly good series the way Saban did with Zeo and Space.
