Gah. I wish I'd had the money for him and Deka Red for when they were released :(

Red Hawk and Deka Red are still available through Amiami.

I've considered getting Deka Red because he looks cool and I like that sentai uniform design, but it's going to be a money drain getting the rest of the team as exclusives.

Well, I don't have the money for them NOW either, but that's reassuring to know I hopefully have a little longer to scrape funds together for them :) thanks!

It helps that neither Red Hawk or DekaRed came with first run pre order exclusive, you shouldn't have difficulties getting them.

Here's my issue. I'll probally never own an Akiba Red, though I'd like to. But I really want a Red Hawk.

A) Do the wings fit other Figuarts
B) How much do they make the cost bump up
3.. or C) Is Red Hawk flimsy? I saw Meteor say the one he has broke an elbow.

A) I'm pretty sure you could have other Figuarts grab the handles or something, but the Akibarangers have a specific set of holes in their backs to allow for the wings to plug in.
B) I'm pretty sure he's standard retail. Plus, Bluefin will be releasing him, so you might end up getting him shipped for a slightly lower price than if you imported him.
C) There's no real way to be sure of whether Meteor's case was hamhandedness or if it was a fault with the toy. That's the only case I've heard of with breakage, but as with all Figuarts, you can always run the risk of getting a bad egg.

Really doubtful that anything else will show up at TRU, unless we end up really lucky with MMPR/Zyuranger stuff. The Samurai/Shinkenger stuff was something of an experiment with overstocked toys picked up by BoA, and what they intend to do from here on out doesn't seem too clear. But from what I can infer, they want to take charge of their own 6-inch Ranger line aimed more at collectors, leaving no real place for a $35 Figuart at retail stores. Then again, I've been wrong about these things before, so only time will tell. Again, both of these guys are really doubtful. Try comic shops.

Yeah Red Hawk isn't too pricey. 2500 yen(~$32)or so on Amiami and Mandarake plus shipping, or $42.99 on Amazon(with free shipping) and BBTS($8 shipping unless you have a Pile o'Loot).

I hope Bandai of America just imports the Figuarts. Their "collector line" might be okay, but I'm suspecting lots of visible pins in the joints and minimal paint apps.

It needs one. But it doesn't take away from it's already swarming mass of perfectly sculpted awesome.

DO NOT order Red Hawk from Amazon. Bluefin is releasing him without the Akiba Ranger wings.

Unless you don't give a damn about Akibaranger or getting the other parts...like me.

Well, I don't care about the other parts, but I was planning on giving the wings to Akiba red since he comes with so little.

Not getting Deka red or Bouken red though. Since I can get the release with the extra wings for the same price as through Amazon, it's a no-brainer. Sorry Bluefin.

I feel kind of dumb for not knowing about this. Guess I missed the announcement that the Bluefin version wouldn't come with the Akiba wings.
